Still Point Massage
Check out this demo on how to disengage from your thoughts that is ALSO a very effective way to baby step yourself into meditation (if desired). AND if you'd like to be connected further and more frequently - please reach out to me to be my friend on social media. I've been doing DAILY Facebook Lives at 3:30 pm EST with the focus on health, fat loss, and fitness.

And again, here if you are in need of any sort of personal training, assistance with weight loss (or strategies for not gaining it), or even the option for fuller bodied programs in this time of social distancing. As you're probably more than aware of, massage therapy and bodywork businesses are being made to close for 2 weeks starting 3/23.
Services
Michaela has been a practicing massage therapist since graduating from the Bancroft School of Massage in 1999. Her massage has a bio-mechanical focus which is a direct result of mentoring received from a notable local Rolfer, as well as being in the fitness industry working primarily with kettlebells.
Massage therapy/body work is a powerful preventive technique that can address and prevent physical discomfort before it starts. Body work is an outlet that can be healing for all aspects of an individual - mental, physical, and spiritual. The body doesn't lie, and is generally a great educator. Accessing it's wisdom through sensation and feeling more connected to it can be an uplifting and transformative experience.
So you want to be healthy? Or you're certain you already are? Or you're completely confused about all the conflicting information that is flying around? Provides body optimum levels of nutrition that are impossible to receive from our food alone (due to it being grown in nutrient poor soil). Provides antioxidant protection that wards off degenerative diseases (stroke/diabetes/ arthritis/cancer).

I've had back, shoulder and neck problems for years and can honestly say my massage was one of the best I've ever had. (Mind you I've been to at least 20 massage therapists in my life.)

Michaela focused on areas that I didn't even know were problem areas, yet seemed to loosen up my entire body.

She also mastered the deep pressure that still feels super relaxing.

I would highly recommend!

This was my first time having a massage at Still Point and it was amazing. The room definitely had a warm and welcoming vibe. The giant window brought in loads of natural light, which I loved. Michaela was so friendly and attentive to my needs. I have lower back problems and she took that info and ran with it. After my massage she sent me links to help improve my posture and lessen my pain! I had a great experience here. :)

I went to Still Point Massage after suffering a serious lower back injury. I have lived in pain every day after my injury with no relief. I am a combat vet and not someone who would normally go get a massage. Honestly I was weirded out by the idea of it all.
I have to give a lot of credit to Michaela. She made me feel at ease. Everything about the experience says "relax".
First , the building is an amazing classic New England home which has been converted into Offices. This makes the energy in the building one of "welcome" .
When I walked into the waiting area on the 3ed floor I instantly felt

How can I possibly detail in words alone the bliss one will experience at Stillpoint? Exceptionally clean, peaceful, with one of the most knowledgeable massage therapists and health coaches I have ever met. Michaela is so well versed in her craft, Not just the body work aspect, but the health aspect as well. I could go on and on, but you should probably just call her now and make an appointment. :)

Amy was great! I arrived with a hip and lower back aches. She took the time to listen, and gave me an amazing deep tissue massage. I work in a warehouse lifting heavy boxes and bending all day, walking on hard concrete. Amy worked on my shoulders and hips, legs and even my hands--I felt soft and flushed afterwards and like I had been treated very well. I also liked that Amy spoke to me only a few times, asking if it felt alright, and I so enjoyed the quiet which adds to the relaxation for me.
EXcellent overall experience, I will be back to see Amy again.

Michaela is amazing. I started massages at Still Point after experiencing repeated bouts of back pain that neither my Dr or Chiropractor could isolate. After a few monthly massages, the pain was gone.

Michaela is thoughtful and engaging. She takes the time to understand your needs, progress and results. I've slacked off lately, but need to make this part of my routine again.

Was feeling super stressed at work, and decided to book a massage. I picked still point based on yelp reviews and availability of times.

I was happy with my choice. It was relaxing and the massage itself was amazing. It was the right combo of pressure and relaxation. The only downside is that the room can get a bit hot in the summer (third floor of a building), but definitely one of the better places I have found in the area.

Michaela gives one of the best messages. She is very good at reading your body and focusing the attention where you need it most. I have been using her for years. Whenever I go away and get a massage at a top resort spa I realize just how good she is. I have sent many friends and they all go back. Her location is very CLEAN and convenient. You will not be disappointed Enjoy!

Massage will drastically improve your life. I do my best to get a massage every few months, more when possible or necessary. Like many people I spend a lot of time sitting...in the office at work, in my car, at home on the couch, at my sewing table...and the body gets stiff. There are some things that all the stretching in the world just won't help. Enter massage.

Going for a massage can make some people nervous or anxious even. (Do I get totally naked? Do I leave my underthings on? Who is this person touching me? I didn't shave today...) This is the exact opposite of what I want

I get a massage at least twice a year whether I need it or not. I gotta improve my lifestyle, if for no other reason than to spend more time on Michaela's table at Still Point. I've been working with her for a few years now and was delighted when she opened her own practice. She's so lovely, a terrific listener and adept at attending to my highly specific medical situation.

I have big old incision scars from the base of my skull to the middle of my back that hate direct pressure, but affect nearby tissues which therefore need tons of direct pressure. Michaela never, ever hits
