In 1969, Frank and Filomena Caretti moved to America from Monte de Procida, Italy, a small town just outside Naples, to start a family in the land of opportunity. Caretti's pizza was opened in 1979 serving the homemade recipes they brought with them from their hometown. Quality ingredients and commitment to authentic Italian cuisine has been their focus for over four decades.
A tasteful dish with red & green peppers, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli & red onions, creamy white sauce and white wine. Your choice of fettuccine or rigatoni pasta. Served with fresh tomatoes, pancetta, bacon, sauteed onions and mild or zesty hot peppers, just terrific! Spaghetti with clams served with a sauce of your choice: flavorful red marinara or olive oil, fresh garlic & herbs in a white wine sauce.

Extremely disappointed with my Italian sub today. Like another post 3 slim slices of ham. I use more on a grilled ham and cheese.1 piece of salami per half. No pepperoni. The last one I ordered was stuffed. Raved about it. Ashamed I told friends and family. If they get what I got, they'll never talk to me again. Hopefully this only happens at the Philadelphia Ave like location. Truly pitiful.

We called in to order off of their menu online. They called us back and told us our choice wasn't available because the stuff we ordered wasn't supposed to come in that boli. He was not nice about it but agreed to let it go that time. Then when we picked up our order I noticed that it all felt pretty light. There was barely any meat in our boli and the breaded mushrooms didn't come with ranch and there were only 6 for $4.75. My boyfriend called in and asked how many mushrooms were supposed to be there and the girl said 12. So they made sure they gave us less food because the owner was mad and charged

Good food, and I have no complaints at all about the service. They lost a star, though, because of the tvs in the dining room. Not just one but several, and the sound was on, on _all_ of them! So we were forced to listen to some game or other in which we had absolutely no interest...

The food is terrible the chicken wings smelled bad the pizza was frozen took forever to get here the owner is rude and so are the employees they said they were gonna give me back a refund I've been waiting three hours when are they coming back they refused. when I came there with my food they refuse to give me my money back is my first time in Pennsylvania the first meal I try to get it and this is the experience I got hung up on me and kept insisting that I'm trying to get free food I did not even eat the food

Everything we ordered was very good, from appetizers to full dinners, and our server, Sierra, was mostly attentive, but without announcing or signage there was a 3.5% charge for using a credit card. Not satisfied with that move by the owner!!
After reading the owners response... our family will not be returning!! We were sitting at a table, and never went to the cash register. Oh well, there's lots of other places for Italian foods in this area that don't charge 3.5% extra for credit card usage.

Caretti's has amazing customer service!
We placed a to-go order on the phone and went to pick it up a short while later.
When we arrived the order was getting boxed up. We paid and were on our way.
A short while later we were called by Caretti's and informed that the Calzone we had was mixed up with another one and not what we ordered. They offered to remake our order and bring it to us.
Unfortunately, we were not very close at that time, so, they offered us a free Calzone the next time we come in.
This is the way good service should be.

Since moving to the area, everyone recommended this restaurant to me (they meant the other location by Walmart...oops). I did not see anything special about this place from the moment I walked in. Not one of the staff were friendly, they were all rather rude.
I purchased the stuffed shells. I was so hungry from a long day I ate half of the plate before I noticed a rancid, rotten egg, garbage smell under the piles of cheese. I opened the stuffed shell and confirmed it was the stuffing. This

Quick stop off of highway- we have. A long drive.
Pizza was tasty and cheesy. We live in NY so we're critics. But it was pretty good comparably to other places for sure.
Very friendly people who work there.
Very clean.

The service, (Delivery) was excellent! We bought, a 16" pepperoni,sausage,black olive with extra cheese hand tossed pizza. Also, spaghetti with meat sauce. The food is great! Fast service, pleasant delivery man. The man, that took our order was patient, explained everything in detail, they even offered plates and plastic ware. We're here often, it's nice to know great food is only a call away!

I was visiting Chambersburg and looking for a good place to eat. Found Caretti's Pizza on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a 5-topping Stromboli and it was excellent. I also got a side salad with house italian dressing. The salad was good. Not the best dressing I've had, but good. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place!

Started with the Hot Wings (Great flavor and taste) then had a Calzone, (Sausage, Mushroom, Ricotta) just my thing.. again GR8 & finished up with a cannoli.....
Great food I'll be coming back in June for business and and will definitely be frequenting this place!!!

Lunch at Caretti's was two slices of pizza today. They have a few different varieties at the counter and I chose two that looked interesting. A few minutes in the oven and they were ready to go, nice and hot.
One with chicken and broccoli, the other was a spicy chicken marinara that was messy but delicious. Interesting how one was bigger than the other but still a good value.
Pepsi products at the fountain and ice tea urns. A cooler of teas and juices as well.
