Services
We are a French couple, and we are from the South of France. We have been brought together by a strong curiosity and enthusiasm when it comes to travelling and exploring new places, cultures and traditions. Inspired by our friend Gerard Levant, a former baker and master of Eric Kayser, we have decided to use our passion for discovery by sharing our own French traditions through the creation of a bakery.

We are regular customers at Colette and have never been disappointed! I have a sweet tooth so my favorites include the cho-colette croissant, the chocolate chip cookie, and the coffee eclair. We've also sampled a lot of their fresh bread, the quiche, and their desserts. Every item is unique, beautifully presented and delicious! We feel so lucky to live so close to an authentic french bakery and can't say enough positive things about the food and the customer service.

I had a sandwich, a chocolate croissant and a tarte citron from here and was very impressed with everything. The bread had an excellent firm and crispy crust without being too hard or chewy. The croissant had a good balance of buttery flavor, flakiness and chocolate. The tarte citron had excellent flavor and consistency but my preference would have been for a slightly thicker base. Excellent overall

Colette's has the air of Parisian sensibility running through it. Their baked goods fare is always fresh and very consistent. The cold baguette sandwiches are excellent and filling, but they tend to run out of them in the afternoon. I love the tuna sandwich which has hardboiled egg halves on it.
I end up eating here once a week or more. The staff is very friendly and attentive, even when they get busy.

Tucked in the corner of a small neighborhood in Medford, this patisserie delivers an array of excellent French delectables to the Greater Boston area.
Recently got recommended by my friends to try their tarts, and I drove all the way from Seaport to try their pastries. Everything looked authentic and appealing. As an indecisive taster, I wanted to try as much as possible and decided to get the Flan Parisien, rasberry & strawberry tarts, amandine, chocolate éclair, and a chocolate croissant. Among these, my favorites were the éclair and the raspberry tart. Rich combination of chocolate, hazelnut

I'm sad that I just discovered this wonderful neighborhood bakery but happy I now know to frequent this place! Excellent French style baked goods and coffee drinks / prepared drinks. Love that ingredients are thoughtfully listed. You can see how popular the place is by the patient customer line outside.

Colette Bakery is a new and really fine addition to the north-of-Boston pastry scene. We are seriously happy to see another authentic French Bakery in the area. Welcome! (we shall return!)
Croissant: a wider, larger form factor than is typical, but no matter. This is an extremely well-constructed croissant of the not-too-sweet, not-too-buttery nature. Whenever we check out a new bakery, we use the croissant as the baseline for evaluation (sort of like sending in someone to try the Tomago to evaluate whether a sushi restaurant is worth going into or not) and this croissant did not disappoint.
