Services
2020 Club Boat Dives: Open to all divers (need cold water experience and must not need a refresher) Space is limited so reserve your place by calling the shop and paying over the phone. Pro Scuba Dive Center will provide free tank rentals (while supply lasts) or free tank fills for those using their own tanks.
Eligible divers must be NAUI Scuba Diver certified (or equivalent), NAUI Nitrox Diver certified (or equivalent) with 10 logged nitrox dives, an experienced drysuit diver and be 15 years of age. Technical dive equipment is available for rent from Pro Scuba Dive Center. Course includes instruction, materials, 6 hours of pool training and certification costs.
We are the only store in Santa Cruz County that offers a women's BC for rental and instruction. Our BC rentals are Scuba Pros Lady Hawks and Knight Hawks that are equipped with the Air II. Rental Regulators are all Scuba Pro quality units with the XP10 computer and compass. You will enjoy our HP Steel Tanks in 100/ 80/ or 65.
Pro Scuba is a wonderful place when it comes to diving. Dave and Cheryl are super nice and patient, as well as knowledgeable. I did my beginner class with Dave and a couple of other instructors, who are also nice and easy-going. Dave have been very helpful and encouraging. He laid out options to fit my schedule and has been very kind.

The instruction is very thorough and the classes are made interesting. There is never any feeling of worry about asking any questions. When I complete a course, I am confident in my knowledge and ability to enjoy any dive that I have been under instruction for. The staff are super likeable, fun and easy to communicate with. I'm so glad I chose Pro Scuba.

I have been using this dive shop for several years. Pro Scuba Dive center is the most professional dive shop I have have visited. I have been all over the world, and I have not found a better dive shop. David and Cheryl treat their customers as family and have created a dive community in Santa Cruz. The shop has the best dive equipment around and their rental equipment is high quality (no cheap items). This dive shop focuses on safety in their training and their advice. I recommend that anyone who is a diver or anyone who wants to learn how to dive visit the Pro Scuba Dive Center in Scotts Valley

This shop feels like home and family. I have been to so many dive shops that try to sell me things I dont need. I also sometimes get that used car salesman vibe at some other stores, definitely not here. I have known Dave a Cheryl for sometime and they are fantastic. I also am a SCUBA instructor for them and know that they care about safety of their students above all else.

Dave and Cheryl are really wonderful owners and so pleasant to work with. They go out of their way to find the equipment you want and will work best for you. They also offer wonderful dive trips all over the world with the best resorts at excellent prices. And they work with all the divers in a group to make sure is safe and has a great experience. They are the best in my experience.

ProScuba is a super dive shop! The owners, Cheryl and Dave, provide excellent customer service and knowledge. They go out of their way to explain things and answer questions about gear and diving. The dive club meetings and trips are super fun and well organized. I'm taking Advanced Scuba and Nitrox courses and am so impressed by the instructors (Dan and Dave) and TAs. This is by far the best shop in Santa Cruz County for all your diving needs!

Originally, it was my wife who had really wanted to become SCUBA certified. I was a little apprehensive at first, after meeting Dave and Cheryl I was intrigued. They both shared many wonderful stories and memories they had made together on their SCUBA adventures. We had Claire as an instructor, she was fabulous. Her methods of training put all of my concerns to rest and aloud me to build my confidence as a SCUBA diver. Now, I can’t get think of something I’d rather do than dive. After 50 years of diving, Pro Scuba is without question the best dive shop that I've encountered. The reason? Dave and Cheryl are the most professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful you could ask for. You can't miss by doing business with them. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them over the last 3-4 years.
