Services
Barefoot Beach Bride is a Full-Service Wedding, Event Design, Planning Company with Venue founded in 2011. Our story began years ago, as a teen I loved to sew, bake, design floral arrangements, custom make furniture and home decor. Years later my hobbies allowed me to escape from the from my career in the Automotive industry.
A Marriage license from Worcester County is required to get married in Ocean City Maryland. You do not get from your county or state when traveling. The fee is $35.00. You can apply by mail or in person. It is required to get a beach permit to have a wedding on the beaches in Ocean City, Md. It is free.
We know not everyone wants a 4-hour reception after the ceremony on the beach. And we are asked all the time where can we get dinner reservations? It is very hard to get a reservation in Ocean City in season. We came up with our 2-hour dinner package to give you a private space for you and your guests to enjoy a meal together, cut the wedding cake and enjoy a few hours of celebrating with your guest.
Work with our in-house wedding planner/coordinator to plan and facilitate your ceremony and reception. Barefoot Beach Bride will provide vendors, including florists, DJs, photographers, and hair stylist allowing you to relax and feel like a guest at you wedding. Our NEW Venue Space has a different twist than any other venue in Ocean City MD.
Our Packages are pre-designed all details listed are included in the package you selected. You should have a clear understanding of what services and details you have selected. If you do not need a photographer or officiant you must state at the time of booking, once you have booked the package they cannot be removed.

Jody is amazing at what she does and does it with such care and style! Our beach wedding was even more than we could've expected as we barely did anything! We simply made our selections and waited for the big day! It was perfectly planned and every girl's dream come true! We were even able to change our ceremony time to avoid bad weather. Jodie and the entire Barefoot Beach Bride team helped us to have the wedding of our dreams on September 6th, 2021! Jodie made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She took care of all of the details including flowers, decorations, center pieces, food, photography, and set up/ clean up. She also provided recommendations for hair and make up artists as well as great hotels in the area. We stayed at the Edge hotel, which she recommended, and had amazing stay.

We just had our wedding with BBB this past weekend and it was all we wanted it to be! From our very first meeting with her, Jodie was very professional and courteous. We live out of state and had to do all our planning by phone and email. Jodie was always quick to respond to emails and answerd all of our questions thoroughly. The decorations were fabulous and the upstairs room accommodated all of our guests comfortably. The food was delicious, we just wish the caterers would have left it out a little longer. We highly recommend BBB!!!

It has been almost a week since our perfect beach wedding. We had the ceremony on the beach with dinner after at Coastal 59. Jodie and Barefoot Beach Bride made it so easy and executed everything perfectly. The food and cake were so delicious. Every guest came up to us raving about how good it was. Our photographer, Rachel, did an awesome job. We already received a sample of our photos and they are amazing. We can't wait to see the rest of them. If you are looking for a beach wedding, we would definitely recommend Barefoot Beach Bride!

We are from PA, and I wanted a beach wedding. Found Barefoot Beach Bride online and could not have been happier. My sciatica flared up right before we came down. Jodi, Katy, and Michelle were so accommodating. They all went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. They helped to make my day so special and beautiful. We planned our beach wedding in two months and the process was seamless. We ordered our flowers through BBB and Jodie made sure they matched with our decorations and made recommendations on the time of our ceremony for the best photos, and guided us through the process. Start to finish it was a dreamily smooth experience and I cannot recommend BBB enough.

It was an outdoors venue that she had never personally worked but meet our wishes (outdoors, # of guests, sunset, etc). She knows all the caterers and wedding services in the area and quickly helped us down-select. She was able to quickly put together our dream team.
