Benzing Surveying, LLC was established in 2015 by current members Ryland and Shannon Benzing. Ryland has an A.A.S. degree in Civil & Construction Engineering Technology and 16-plus years of experience in the surveying field. He continues to stay informed about the latest industry trends by being a member of the Society of Land Surveyors of Iowa, Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors, and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.

Ryland has also served as an adjunct instructor for the Land Surveying course at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa. Shannon has a B.S. degree in Business Management from the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently a Production Manager for Collins Aerospace. Combining Ryland and Shannon's technical and business knowledge helps Benzing Surveying, LLC meet and exceed our customer needs.

Benzing Surveying, LLC offers the following services in rural and urban areas throughout Northeast Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin. This mix of services covers a large range of clients involving private individuals, private companies, and government agencies in the agricultural, residential, industrial, commercial, mining, construction, and educational sectors.

I used Benzing Surveying to purchase a portion of land from our neighbors to pasture our horses. Ryland understood my plans and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We set a time and day and he was there when he said he would be, even though I was unable to be! Once I did arrive he had most of the work done. When I explained I had to change the dimensions, Ryland simply asked what the new plan was and went straight to work making the adjustments, with ZERO complaint or grievance. Should I ever need surveying in the future, I will most definitely be calling Ryland again. Anyone with
