Services
At Mike Langley Excavating we have been providing clients with exceptional site preparation services since 1983. We refuse to cut corners for any project that we take on and pride ourselves on having an eye for detail and top quality workmanship. It is always our goal to provide you with a permanent solution for your site and not just a band-aid result.
Poor Drainage on the Roof - The gutters on the roof collect the water that falls on it, and directs it towards the downspouts. The latter take water away from your home and its foundation and discard it into a drain. If this system doesn't function well, all the water falls on the ground near your house and towards your foundation.
Exterior Excavation Waterproofing - This is one of the most comprehensive waterproofing solutions available. We dig a trench to the bottom of the footer around the foundation wall. This solution consists of a number of treatments. We will install new French drain or drainage tiles and apply waterproofing membranes and other such materials on top of the foundation wall.
A drain pipe draws wastewater from your home and directs it towards a septic tank that's installed some distance away from your home on your property. Once the wastewater is in the tank, all solid waste sinks to the bottom while the grease and the oil float to the top. The solid waste and the grease remain while the water in between is pumped out.
Gurgling noises in your toilet and drains are an early indication that something is wrong. When you hear this noise, you should contact a professional. Sewage odor from your drains and plumbing installation is a sure indication that there's a problem in the system. Sewage backup is the worst consequence of a clogged drain and needs to be addressed immediately.

We just finished our second job with Mike Langley. My wife and I agree that we will never use anyone else for an excavation job. Mike always lets you know what he thinks, consistently follows through on what he says he will do, and pays an incredible level of attention to the details. He's repaired the foundation walls on our home, and did the excavation, footer and grading for an auxiliary structure. His management of assistants and sub contractors (concrete, gravel trucking, waterproofing, mason, etc.) is impressive and always kept the jobs moving along smoothly and on schedule. I can't recommend

Mike installed a new septic system for me. He did a great job and his price was very fair.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with these guys. When we bought our house we immediately needed excavation as we were getting water in the basement with even the lightest rain. Being new to town and not knowing anyone (for a referral) was a little unnerving as this was a BIG job. Mike and Jake were patient in answering my zillion questions and need to know everything about the project. Their work ethic and attention to detail was refreshing (seems more and more rare these days). I waited until we made it through all seasons before writing this review and am happy (and relieved
