In 1969 Ocean Springs Yacht Club was began by a core group of charter members who dedicated their time and effort towards the development of a sailing yacht club. Most of the founding members purchased a Sunfish when the club was formed and did much for the club in the critical early years including helping organize the various races and events.
One of our primary goals is to be the premier catamaran and small dinghy Yacht Club on the Gulf Coast. To accomplish this, we intend to grow our racers "from the ground up".
Through the use of weekly "round the buoy races" to the continued support of our flagship distances races (Slip to Ship and Island Hop) Ocean Springs Yacht Club through our charitable non-profit, the Ocean Springs Sailing Squadron will help you hone your sailing and racing skills.

This was our first time there. The food was great, the drinks were great, but more important is all the people there were very kind. The servers and bartenders were very good at their jobs. The bar area was clean and setup very nice. The restrooms were clean. If you are in Ocean Springs stop in and enjoy a great meal and great service. But most of all, southern hospitality from yesteryear that you don't find anymore in business.

I was invited to attend an event here with the Rotary club. It was my first time and I thought that the event space was lovely and of course it had a nice view. The food served was seasoned well, served and displayed in a lovely fashion and I was impressed. It was a buffet style meal and quite tasty.
