Lori Dorman and Co Photography was built out of a genuine passion of birth. The foundation of our story is babies, we have extraordinary experience in coddling and gently handling your infant and are also highly educated in breastfeeding. All our newborn artists are extremely talented, careful and understand that the safety of your newborn is paramount.
Lori Dorman and Co. includes a staff of over 20 highly creative females that work collaboratively on all of our shoots and have a similar signature style and vibe - that is one of the reasons we are available to shoot 7 days a week! This also enables us to give you the highest quality photo shoot available.
We have the largest selection of stunning one-of-a-kind couture maternity gowns unmatched by any studio in the industry. This year alone we obtained a new $500,000 collection of gowns that have been altered and customized to fit any size. We literally have hundreds of dresses for you to choose from - from elegant to casual, and to make the process fun and easy, you will receive a private gallery via internet of all the dresses available.

Like legit...whatever it is that Lori is breathing into I'm trying to be apart of it. Because I've lived long enough to witness that when you experience something memorable and invaluable it ALWAYS STARTS AT THE HEAD.
And each part of this experience was curated in excellence and infused with love and grace!

This is my first time shooting with Lori Dorman's production and I shot with Jasmine, we traveled from Las Vegas just so we can get these special maternity photos, when I tell you I had THE BEST shoot and treatment is not enough. Pictures and sets are so beautiful! I recommend beyond 5 stars for everything! It was a day I'll NEVER forget! I'm beyond happy!

I highly recommend Loridorman group for maternity photo shoot. I had a pleasure of working with Jaz and Maria. They were both very passionate about what they do and paid attention to every detail. Jaz went above and beyond to make sure she captures great photos of me and my husband. We really enjoyed our session and love the photos. Hilda and Becky were so helpful with scheduling the session and follow up to make sure we get the results we were looking for. Overall a great group to work with, couldn't be happier.

Jazz & Be killed it! They made all our fashion couture dreams come true. From the vibe, to the liveliness, to the dresses.....It was allll a dream! Every second. My wife and I didn’t feel out of place or uncomfortable for one second and for a lgbtq+ couple having a baby this was a dream! They were flexible and easy to work with from start to finish. If you want the best photographer...this is it. Do it. It’s worth it! Every penny

If you want to feel what it's like to work with people who really love what they do than this is the place. We drive an hour to get to them and don't mind bc it's always worth it. I did my maternity shoot with them and the studio and not a cake smash for my 1-year-old. The pictures and editing are truly second to none and every member of the staff makes you feel like a queen for the day. Everyone is so warm and nice and really makes the day fun and enjoyable even for husbands. They listen to what you want and what you like rather than just going with the flow. I came across Lori Dorman Photography on Instagram a while back and told myself one day when I was pregnant this is where I wanted to come and have my pictures taken. Well last week Thursday I finally had that opportunity and it was everything and more than what I had expected.
I live in New York City and my friends and family thought I was crazy for wanting to fly to California to take pictures when there are so many great photographers right here in New York, but honestly there is no comparison and I would recommend anyone contemplating making the trip out there to just do it.

I first discovered Lori Dorman Photography through one of the reviews on my OBGYN's Yelp page. I was smitten by how magical and whimsical the photos looked, and I thought it would be wonderful to have a fairy tale look for my maternity photos since being pregnant and having a baby is such a fantastic experience in and of itself. What made this even more special was me finding out that Lori has so much experience working with mothers and the whole motherhood industry. And much of this knowledge is also reflected in the experience.

By far the most incredible photography experience I have ever had. I was blown away by the ease of the shoot the professionalism of the Lori Dorman staff and how fun and beautiful the entire experience was. DO IT. I had the most amazing and fun shoot ever! where do I even begin? From the moment I got there, the whole ambiance of the place is fascinating. You can see the different types of possible set ups and scenes possible for your photo shoot. There are a variety of clothes and props to to work with. And my team - Lisa and Anna were so welcoming, positive, and energetic. I was honestly nervous at first doing a boudoir shoot, but in a matter of minutes with them, I was so comfortable and felt secure. They are so good at directing and and paying attention to the little details. They are considerate

I just did my maternity shoot with Jaz and Alexa from Lori Dorman this past Saturday and WOW! The whole experience was incredible and you can tell the team absolutely loves what they do. They were so nice,
Friendly, professional and encouraging throughout the entire day. I ended up getting really sick the day before my shoot and was so bummed out but Jaz and Alexa totally turned my day around, we were all nothing but laughs and smiles all day and my hubby and 11 year old step son also enjoyed the experience. My hubby was impressed with how amazing these ladies were and their talent is incredible

I have been dreaming of this photo shoot for over 5 years. As I saw so many friends and family get to go to Lori's studio it was FINALLY my turn. Due to the fact that I had waited so long for this shoot I had high expectations and believe me I was not disappointed. Jaz was such a professional with a personable touch. She went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations and truly made my visions a dream come true. Immediately arriving I felt the family environment that Lori's staff provides. I was introduce to everyone and felt so comfortable. You are provided with your own dressing

My girlfriend and I have been fantasizing about becoming pregnant and having a maternity shoot done with Lori Dorman Photography (LDP) for over a year. Upon learning that we were expecting, we swiftly booked a maternity shoot in November 2015 to take place in March of 2016. Email correspondence was polite, clear, and prompt. The studio manager, Alisha is very kind and knowledgeable and is more than willing to assist in clearing up any lingering doubt. On a side note she makes one hell of a guacamole ;) ;)
We traveled nearly 3000 miles from Fort Myers, Florida to make this photoshoot
