Don’t go here. They do not take mid risk cases so that they can keep their numbers up! Even doulas don’t even recommend this place cause Lonnie is over 80 years old and needs to retire. LOL find another midwife I’m sure there’s tons out there who have went to schooling recently with the NEW & UP TO DATE delivery options.

The Childbirth and Women’s Wellness Center has great midwifes and staff. I wanted to maximize my chances for natural birth, so changed from hospital to midwifes delivery. And I am happy I did that. Lonnie Morris helped to deliver my 1st child in the hospital. She is very experienced midwife! I think she managed very well hospital staff to avoid unnecessary interventions and allow me to deliver naturally. I definitely recommend her and the center overall.

I had all my prenatal care done by them and it was very good. The staff is friendly, Gabs and Ashley in special were super supportive making all the difference during those 40 weeks, and Kate helped me to delivery my baby the way I wanted to, and she was did a great job. Zero unnecessary interventions. (I also hired a doula that made all the difference as well).

I am so grateful I chose this place. Jess is super cool, and so real. She will make you laugh throughout all your appointments and make you feel like she genuinely cares about you. I have never had a obgyn give me a well received hug after an appointment, and that’s the difference with the care at the Childbirth center. Lonnie was the midwife who delivered my baby. She is totally unconventional (which I personally enjoy) and she really knows her stuff. My baby had his cord wrapped around his neck twice, and she immediately unwrapped it. I can't say enough good things about the fabulous team at The Childbirth and Women's Wellness Center. I was pregnant with my 1st baby and in need of a lot of support. I had lots of questions and feeling anxious because of all the tests that you often have to do during your 1st 2 trimesters.

I switched last minute to the childbirth and wellness center at 36 weeks pregnant. I wanted to give birth at one of the birthing centers in NJ. I got to meet each one of the midwives once before my baby’s arrival. All of them were professional, sweet and very much love what they do. Jane ended up being the midwife who helped deliver my baby. Can’t say enough good things about her and how skilled she is. Even though I only met her once prior, I felt so comfortable and so relaxed with her presence. She knows her stuff!! I felt listened to and cared for and couldn’t have made a better choice
