Less than mile from Hwy 101 you can enjoy a quick, casual, healthy meal. The Humboldt Soup Company is locally owned by Chef Christine Silver, who takes pride in offering freshly prepared meals that are nutritious and delicious. The HSC prepares up to 5 soups every day, using local farmers market produce whenever available.
Soups include Carrot Ginger, Kuri Squash, Roasted Eggplant with Chickpeas, Chicken with Wild Rice, Tomato Basil and their most popular, Coconut Chicken Curry (just to name a few). In addition to fresh made soups we also have sandwiches, salads, signature bowls and kitchen crafted sodas. Our food focus is to pepare 'real food' with local, organic, grass fed, all natural and non gmo ingredients wherever possible.

Great food, well made. Ate lunch here today. Ordered Stroganoff, Clam chowder, Fried Bacon Tots and Macaroni and Cheese. The Stroganoff is VERY rich in sauce flavor, Clamps chowder was mehhhh... which was surprising considering it is a SOUP restaurant (but it could just be me. We brought left overs home - my hubby will eat later, will update). He loved the Tots and Mac n Cheese.

Always friendly staff and great service.
One of my go to spots for breakfast to go. They have gluten free breakfast burritos! Their paleo bowl is incredible also for folks doing low carb. It is also amazing if you add rice or potatoes if you need starch to go with it.
Good homemade soups and fresh salads of course but the options above are what I enjoy the most there.

The young man who served me understood exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to guess about his menu oh, I wanted his opinion on what the best item I could purchase was. He displayed the ultimate in customer service, he answered the question! I was delighted with the euro and that pasta salad that came with it it was amazingly delicious and it wasn't too spicy which is what I talked to him about. Not referring to Chili's but referring to heavy other spices it was mildly spiced and it was very pleasant to eat both fresh when I first got it and the other half later on when it was cold. I rate The

OK place for soup, sandwiches and bowls. Bit expensive for the quantity. Food quality was decent. Sweet potato fries/chips served as side was a joke. They had maybe 4-5 chips as a side 😄. Falafel bowl was poor. Only two tiny falafel balls in the bowl and bunch of quinoa.
Unique thing we saw on the menu was jackfruit wrap, which was tasty!

So first step order a root beer oh I'm sorry we're out of root beer. Okay I will take a mint soda then, oh no we're out of that we don't even have it on the menu any longer we just haven't taken it off. Okay I'll take raspberry then. Okay that was a success. I will also take a meatloaf sandwich please. Okay everything good repeat it back to me sweet potato chips. Oh yeah by the way we don't take cards right now. Course I wasn't aware of this when the drive-thru line was empty behind me. Until we went through a process to find this out. Now I'm stuck in this line I wasted my entire lunch waiting
