Services
The Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center is the only freestanding nonprofit provider of comprehensive physical, occupational and speech therapy services in the entire Brazos Valley. Our mission is to improve the lives of families in our community who need medical assistance in the areas of physical, speech and occupational therapy services.
In 1945, the College Station Kiwanis Club appointed a Crippled Children's Committee. They served tirelessly through the years, organizing and making arrangements for an annual clinic for crippled children and adults. The Clinic served an 18 county area centering around Brazos County. Five doctors, all specialists, traveled from Galveston Medical School to give their services for free.
We're so glad you're here! Whether you have received therapy services before or this is your first journey, we are here to make the process easy, explain every single step along the way and support you in any way we can. We understand there are many choices for therapy in the community and are thankful for entrusting us with your therapy needs.
The attendance policy is designed to improve our ability to help all of our patients and to provide complete and consistent treatment for you or your child. Consistent weekly attendance is a key component to effective therapy treatment. Regular session attendance helps to reinforce skill development and assist in the carryover of skills to settings outside the clinic.
Call us at 979-776-2872. Have your child's demographics and insurance information, as well as your physician's information ready. We will contact your physician and request a prescription. Once the prescription is received, we will check benefits and coverage and call you to schedule an evaluation.

Life changing. In essence that is the simplest way to describe what BVR did for my kid. So much progress was made and my family will be forever grateful. Thank you, BVR. The staff is nice, knowledgeable, dedicated and they genuinely care.
