Services
Our service starts with our fully staffed office. The office staff is here to answer your questions, schedule service, and make appointments. We have fully stocked service trucks staffed with highly trained technicians dispatched daily and we have the parts and knowledge to get your system up and running during the first visit.
We notify Gopher State One Call two days before the install to arrange for underground utilities to be marked. A licensed plumber is contracted to make the connection to the main water source and install the backflow preventor. We schedule this before the installation date. On the morning of the installation, we will go over the area to be covered, the location of the automatic controller and rain sensor.
Carefree Lawn Sprinklers can start up and correctly adjust your sprinkler system in the Spring to make sure that everything is running properly and providing the best coverage possible by replacing broken heads or making minor repairs. You may also request a Complete Package at a discounted rate when you choose Carefree Lawn Sprinklers to start up and winterize your system.
Winterization is the process in which a trained professional drains the water in a sprinkler system at the end of the summer season. When a "winterization" is performed, the technician attaches a compressor to the sprinkler system's vacuum breaker, backflow, or pump at the point air travels through the sprinkler lines and releases water through each individual sprinkler head until it is completely drained.
In fact, it will conserve water. You'll never have to worry about run off from over watering or wasting water when you forget to turn off the hose. And, with a moisture sensor, your system will know when it's raining and simply shut itself off when water is not needed.
Although every system should be tailored to meet individual needs, a typical system will be compromised of a controller (which functions as the brains of the system), valves (which open and close to release and stop the flow of water to underground pipes) and sprinklers (which actually distribute the water to a given area).
