Good prices and great variety of wood, but customer service is an absolute nightmare. Nobody helped us to load big pieces on the van, the guys just seated to watch while I load. Even an old person that was with me in the car had to get out to help.
People upstairs that seems to be annoyed all time, as if the customer presence bothers them.

I found them online. I live in White Plains so it was great finding a local lumber yard to work with. I'm a hobbyist and know what I should know about wood as a material to work with. I do need to add that I did have schooling on woodwork so I'm definitely not a pro but I can handle a saw. I walked into the office, said hello and asked for some help. One of the women in the office asked what I was looking for and pointed me in the direction for my visit. I was lost at first not because she sent me in the wrong direction but finding I could go in five directions to search what I was looking for

I just built a portable bar for my home. I asked a friend who is a finish carpenter if he could recommend a good place for me to purchase some mahogany lumber and plywood to complete the cabinet as I wasn't happy with the quality of the lumber I had purchased at a lumber yard close to my home when building the bar top and he recommended Condon. I am not a contractor or a carpenter, but I did need a few pieces of wood, cut to precise specifications. I found Condon online, and was very impressed with the customer service and the results. Eileen guided me through the first part, and Will in the lumberyard area was patient and thorough in finding the perfect piece of wood for me and then cutting it to my precise specifications. He made the process very user-friendly and I'm appreciative. I'll be back when I need something else.
