This is an older building but is well maintained. The administrator, Nathan Root, is the kind of person that will lie right to you face and not do what he said he would do!

Being a travel/ agency nurse for several years; you have no idea what your walking into. I’ve left some facilities with a heavy heart after working the assignment. Marion Manor was small and significantly different from so many other nursing assignments. To start, the staff was very welcoming, the med carts were super organized and everything was labeled! (An OCD nurses dream☺️) The report sheets were all updated and neat. The STNAs all had good relationships with the residents (truly the aides treat the residents like family) it would make your heart happy to hear the way they all communicate

My grandmother was here for physical rehabilitation after a stroke. She eventually died here after having another one. The staff was always friendly and nice to her. This is something I cannot say about any other facilities in the county based on how my grandmother and other family members were treated. The facility is rather dated and could use a refresh but don't let that deture you from this place.

Small is good. Lots of great friendly and experienced staff who are experienced. Mom was unresponsive, dying. These folks were on the button with every need. Wait time never more than a few minutes - that's key. Face it - who cares about the fact the building is old. It's who is inside and how they all treat each other that matters. Mom was also at Heartland - and let me tell you - the difference couldn't be more stark. Heartland, although the staff do mean well, are just overwhelmed, and way younger. The girls at Heartland are in their early 20's versus the Manor where they have staffers who've

I have to seek .... which I will. This can get very ugly.
My mom was taken from her residence since Hospice wanted her to go to Marion Manor when she wanted to die at home and my mom dies not even 10 hours later after arriving Marion Manor at around 3 A.M. on June 9th.
This is very serious and potentially a volitial legal or personal situation. Marion Manor is as stated about their (the) company about profit ... Was this part of the plan? Hauling my mom out of her house to go die, neglected, disregarded and or ignored, Etc.???
Why Hospice wanted to take her there and how/why does she die not
