Welcome to The Studio School of Dance, where we take pride in sharing our love of dance with you! The Studio School of Dance first opened its doors in the fall of 2004 when dancer, Vanessa Gutierrez found the perfect location to pursue her dream of opening a dance studio. Armed with a desire to impart her passion for dance and a headstrong tenacity, she opened The Studio's doors on Babbitt Road in Bedford Hills.
We know how important it is for you to find the right dance school. It is an exciting, but major decision. We know you want to be sure you have made the right choice and found the perfect studio for your child. That's why we want you to know that when you come to The Studio, you are coming home. Here you will be welcomed warmly, supported, and looked after.
At The Studio, your budding ballerina will learn the foundational skills of dance, such as balance and control, while also discovering positions, leaps, and even turns. This introduction to ballet is the perfect way to let your little one fulfill those ballerina dreams in a loving and welcoming studio.
Our Butterfly Ballerina's Program at the Saw Mill Club will allow your child to have a one of a kind entrance into the beautiful world of dance! Every little ballerina will love this fun filled hour of ballet and tap dance. Enter a world of dance that will amp up your hip hop skills and take your dancing to the next level!
Enter a world of dance that will amp up your hip hop skills and take your dancing to the next level! Break Dance! Learn cool tricks to show your friends, learn timing, rhythm, balance, and control. Break dance is the perfect add-on for students enrolled in Hip Hop. Combine the worlds of jazz and tap in a one hour jam packed class where students will learn both styles of dance!

My daughter has been dancing at The Studio since middle school. The Studio gave my daughter a community where she could really express herself through dance. My daughter has had the best experience with her teachers and she aspires to be a choreographer one day. Vanessa runs a wonderful school filled with talented teachers, amazing kids and has a way of making your dancer be the best version of themselves on the dance floor. Thank you for giving my daughter the training and confidence to take on the dance world!

My daughter's experience at the Studio was exceptional, and even life-altering! The staff, instructors and general vibe of this program is fantastic, accepting of all body types and levels of experience when it comes to dance. My daughter gained not only new skills in dance -- all types! -- but confidence in who she is as a person. She made life-long friends there. Wonderful place in every way!

My son is doing the hip-hop team at the Studio and the teacher, Andre Lee, is not only an amazing teacher but also an award winning choreographer. He is terrific.
Vanessa, the owner of the Studio , works hard to get top-notch teachers. She started a Tap team this year and managed to get a very talented tap teacher named Jimmy Tate . My older son took breakdancing from a guy name Ready who is also crazy good.

My daughter has been a very enthusiastic participant in classes here for 2 years. Her interest in dance flourished under the incredible direction of various instructors. Each week class was fun, engaging growth oriented while bringing an unparalleled element of fun and excitement for each child regardless of his/her technical ability level. Each child feels a sense of community and inclusiveness that isn’t easily replicable. The Studio School of Dance has been a wonderful find for our family. There are many disciplines to choose from for all ages. Each teacher is highly skilled, professional and kind. I have been impressed with the COVID protocols that have been put in place this year and feel confident that my daughter is safe and happy. She has blossomed at the Studio and loves every minute she spends there!

Ever since my daughter joined The Studio two years ago, I have seen her skills blossom. After each lesson she's extremely happy and continues practicing her dance moves at home. We are new to the Studio within the last two months and we are so happy so far. We love the scheduling, weekend classes are such a nice option. The owner is wonderful, so warm and caring and helpful. The class format is awesome as well, a little ballet, a little tap, it’s perfect for my 7 year old. It has also felt so safe and clean during this crazy time of COVID and nothing better than in person classes!
