We had a problem with our AC. We called Kevin to take care of it, he came as scheduled took the part over the weekend and replaced it with a new one, AC works perfect now, thanks to Kevin, reasonable prices, lower than most competitors. Will defiantly use him again. Kevin is THE BEST! He is very easy to work with.

Kevin is the best. A big HVAC company we were using did shoddy maintenance work, and our compressor failed in the heat of summer after only five years. Kevin came out and did conscientious, painstaking work to swap out the compressor and supporting parts, replace the refrigerant, and clean the system (the old refrigerant, which is supposed to be clear, had so much air and impurities it looked like Mountain Dew). Now, our A/C is back on and working better than it ever did before.

Kevin came in and did great quality work. He replaced a bathroom fan that required cutting a bigger hole in the ceiling. A new hole was cut and patched. He also hung Ring video monitors, adding a junction box where one was required by code. Kevin was very careful not to damage the house. He also took time to double-check that other connections were safe and up to code. You can trust Kevin not to take shortcuts with his work.

This is the 2nd time we have called Texas Star Services and we definitely recommend them. He has been super quick to reply both times we called and has shown up within a few hours each time! He fixed both issues quickly (one was an electrical issue in the main living area, the other was a faulty garage door), he explains what he did to fix the issues, and he is super friendly! Don't hesitate to call Texas Star Services!

Kevin, was informative, educational, seemed very knowledgeable. He solved the problem with my AC unit...it is working great again. He waited patiently while it defrosted, added freon and then made sure it was running well and cooling correctly before he left. He was never in a hurry, he had a great assistant, he explained what he was doing and why. I thought for the time spent and job done, he had a fair price. I will use Kevin again again and would feel comfortable recommending him.

Did not check the cost of a general once a year check up. Kevin showed up and said $190.
Competition says it is only $80 to due general checks to see if all is operating well.
The unit was very clean and Kevin was done in 30 minutes.
If I had confirmed the cost before having Kevin at my front door we would not have had him come out.
The total price paid is the only reason for this lo rating.

Kevin Nguyen brought so much more than licensed electrical competence. He solved a challenging issue in our kitchen that required an array of skills, that clearly came from him having had a career as a home builder. We had a malfunctioning microwave in an enclosure with custom trim. The replacement we purchased was not designed to be a replacement. He constructed and improvised a fantastic solution. It fits and looks perfect!
He clearly has a hard work ethic, and he will be my electrician until he decides to hang it up.

Texas Star Services performed an excellent job in resolving my AC problems. Two of my three units stopped working in my home. I called Texas Star Services Kevin, the TSS technician, didn't just start replacing parts. He methodically performed a part by part trouble shooting process to identify where the problem existed. I have a cool home again. I highly recommend Texas Star Services They are knowledgeable, honest and charge a fair price. I would recommend Texas Star Services to a friend.

Another call today from "Anna at Texas Star Services" and the number came in as being from Euless. I have never, and will never, use your company. Stop cold calling me.

We called to have our Electric Panel Inspected for safety, after a house fire in our area. Kevin showed up and thoroughly explained everything he was looking for to ensure it was safe. We were willing to have the sheet rock ripped out to verify proper installation, and Kevin could have easily done so, and charged us. However, after removing the electric panel, and showing me what he looks for, he felt it was not necessary to do so. He saw no evidence that would warrant ripping the wall out. After 2 visits from a different AC company, we were still sleeping in an 85 degree house! Kevin came in (same day) and went to work. Apparently my unit outside was filthy and the other guy just didn't want to do the work. After about an hour of serious cleaning out in 100 degree weather Kevin was a sweaty mess but the AC was blowing again. After 3 lbs of freon it was blowing ice cold. Life is good now and I'm also very happy with the price which I won't quote because I can't imagine its that cheap for everyone.
