Over time, dirt and grime build up in your grout lines and on your tile surfaces making them both look discolored and dull. Most grout is cement-based and therefore extremely porous which allows it to quickly absorb these contaminants, making tile and grout restoration and cleaning very difficult or impossible without proper systems, knowledge and equipment.
All grout should be sealed, but unfortunately at the time of installation is usually not sealed with a quality sealer. Therefore, the porous grout starts to discolor within a few months and becomes permanently stained from repeated exposure to water, dirt, oil, soaps and other contaminants. Regrouting is an expensive and time-consuming option; furthermore, the grout must still be properly sealed to prevent repeat damage and discoloring.
Improperly installed products, poor ventilation, and improper cleaning and maintenance are the primary causes of unsightly mold in bathroom areas. But even properly installed caulk can be damaged by improperly scrubbing - and damaged caulk allows moisture to have an open path to substructures and actually promotes the growth of mold.
Many commercial buildings can have thousands of square feet of tile, and the cost of replacing the tile or grout can really add up and be disruptive during business hours, particularly with hotels that operate 24/7. Having the tile and grout professionally cleaned will allow for easier cleaning and maintenance and is an effective way to drastically reduce costs while still getting the results you want.

Grout Masters promptly replied to my online inquiry for service. Greg was able to give me a quote the same day and perform the service two days later. They were very professional, knowledgeable and clean while performing the service. My grout was very dirty and dark and they were able to seal and change the color of the grout making my tile look brand new. Not having to replace the tile (800 sq ft) saved me a lot of money.

This review comes from a potential customer who has not paid Grout Masters any money--at least yet! Greg responded to our inquiry promptly and examined our outdated tile floor in person. He gave us his professional opinion and pretty much talked himself out of offering us his full services. We appreciate his honesty; we should save our money and plan to replace our floor. He cleaned a small section of the kitchen tile and it really helped. He suggested products for us to try DIY as an alternative to Grout Master. We will take his advice but contact him if we are not satisfied with our efforts.
