For 30 years, Sounds of Color Studio has helped students explore their creativity and passion for the arts. Today, we offer the largest variety of music and creative arts classes in Orange County, California for all ages and experience levels. We are incredibly proud to be a family-owned small business committed to giving back to our community.
The piano is at the heart of our music program here at Sounds of Color Studio. It's the first instrument we began teaching 30 years ago, and to this day it remains our most popular music class. For starters, the piano is one of the most approachable instruments, providing a comprehensive foundation in many of the most essential music skills.
There's a reason why the violin is often prominently featured in some of cinema's most iconic film scores. Its rich tones are capable of eliciting a spectrum of emotions. From tense anticipation to a stirring sadness, the powerful music of the violin can mesmerize both the musician and the audience.
The guitar and ukulele are two of the most versatile instruments available. Whether you're strumming by the campfire, performing acoustic sets at the local coffee shop, or rocking on stage - you can feel the pulse of the music on every string. Singer-songwriters love the guitar and ukulele for their approachability, plus they're easy to take with you wherever you go.
The harp's origins date back thousands of years, and to this day it remains one of the most highly regarded musical instruments. In an orchestra setting you'll often find the harpist seated separately, allowing their gentle, yet resonating, sound to rise above. Mrs. Brianna was referred to us from a friend and we have nothing but good things to say about her! She’s the most patient, warm, enthusiastic and caring person. During her lessons she creates a nurturing environment, making my 4 year old son feel very comfortable. Her classes are filled with fun, humor and creativity. My son looks forward to his lesson every week and then can’t wait to show the family what he has learned, once we get home. Ms Brianna is absolutely a very gifted teacher. I say gifted because she has so much patience for each child, dedication for each of them, and she genuinely loves what she does and it shows. My daughter, Julia, has been coming to Ms Brianna since she was 5 years old, and her love for music has continued all these years, she is now 10!! My daughter besides taking piano classes, she also takes art classes!! My daughter always looks forward to going to her piano/art classes and never wants to miss them. I have recommended Ms Brianna to many of my family and friends and they are also extremely happy

There aren't enough words to express what a wonderful teacher and person Ms. Brianna is!! My daughter has been learning art and music from her since she was 4 years old and she is now almost 11. She is so knowledgeable and well rounded in every genre and medium! She is simply THE BEST! Brianna is a wonderful teacher. We started with French lessons for our son. We were very impressed so when we heard of the summer art camp we signed up both our kids. They had a great time and were looking forward to a new lesson everyday. We are now thinking of enrolling our daughter for music lessons. Brianna is kind and very patient!

Do not doubt sending your child here for art or music. Briana and her style of teaching are wonderful and warm. She offers a wide variety of art and music classes and is open to all ages and abilities. I love her gentle but knowledgeable way of teaching. My 11 year old daughter, who loves to do arts and crafts, loves going here once a week. My son (now 4) will start classes next year for music. We are very excited and lucky to have found her! The tuition is very, very reasonable - and that's not easy to say when it comes to art and music classes/lessons. I recommend Sounds of Color 100%!
