The Kitchen is the central hub of the home. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing it must also serve a purpose. Our goal is to provide our clients with a space tailored specifically to their needs while also maintaining the design and dcor they're looking for. These spaces are all about efficiency.
When designing storage solutions for our clients we build our custom cabinetry with their personal belongings in mind. We strive to create solutions that not only provide organizational options for the client but also compliment the spaces around them. Sometimes clients come to us looking for that 'Wow' piece.

Whitney Wood Work Inc is a family owned and operated company established in Amagansett in 1983 by Christopher Whitney. With over 30 years of professional experience, state-of-the-art tools & machinery and a dedication to environmental sustainability, WWW consistently creates beautiful cabinetry of the highest quality.
Chris is the heart and soul of Whitney Wood Work. After attending Washington University in St. Louis to study to become an Architect, he soon determined that his passion lay in working with his hands. With backgrounds in many different construction disciplines he is a Jack of all trades. He moved to East Hampton in the early 1980's with the dream of creating his own Custom Cabinetry & Furniture shop.
The nearly 4,000 sq ft shop filled with a vast collection of tools and machinery from reliable manufacturers ensures a consistent high-quality product. The state-of-the-art CNC router and CAD software allow this four-man shop to efficiently design and build jobs of any size and scope. We are constantly researching new technologies in the Woodworking space to ensure that we always work at the highest level of efficiency and accuracy.
WWW uses responsibly-sourced materials whenever possible. Cabinet carcasses are built from Columbia Forest Products' formaldehyde-free, domestic plywood. Hardwood lumber used for doors and drawer fronts come from sustainable harvesting mills and best efforts are made to import foreign hardwood from countries complying with Forestry Stewardship Counsel guidelines.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Chris and Patrick to create our dream kitchen. Their craftsmanship is excellent, and they were both such a delight to work with. Our cabinets turned out exactly as we had hoped and they took such care to make sure that every detail was in place. They also are very knowledgeable about the area and have many contacts.
