In 2018, we decided to open a professional retail setting in Yuma, Arizona for people to feel relaxed and comfortable. We loved the idea of having our own personal spot to do facials, makeovers, and be able to host fun customer events or workshops. When someone comes to The Beauty Bar for the first time, they just fall in love with how welcoming and warm it feels.
As Jackie started expanding her makeup artist training classes online, she also discovered that there were many local women who may not want to take a class to become a makeup artist, but just learn how to do their makeup better. Women visiting our shop love to see the products nicely laid out on a beauty bar where they can ask to try anything on.

At The Beauty Bar Skin Care and Makeup Studio, you get to experience a spa facial that is completely unique. You not only receive a customized facial, specific to your skin type, but you have me showing exactly how to effectively use this same product at home. I understand that some women enjoy going to the spa to have this done as a service.
When it comes to bridal makeup, it really is about the relationship between you, the bride, and your makeup artist. Lots of women can do amazing makeup for your wedding, but in my experience, it's the preparation for your big day and helping you choose what you need based on what your wedding is going to be like.
You never have to be embarrassed about asking for help with your makeup or a tutorial. In my experience, it's widely accepted among women to admit that they have no idea how to do their makeup! Since it is so common, it just makes sense to me that I should help in any way possible.

Becoming a professional makeup artist was a dream I had since I was a little girl. I started doing makeup really well when I was 14 years old and 3 years later, after I graduated high school, I moved to Las Vegas, NV and began doing it professionally. Teaching women how to do their makeup or how to do other people's makeup has always come naturally to me.
