Services
Anderson Valley Health Center has been in operation since 1976 serving the entire community. We became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing general and migrant health services in 2011. 60% of our staff is bilingual in Spanish and English and we offer dental, behavioral and medical health services.
An AVHC provider is on-call for non-emergency medical issues during after-hours and can be reached by calling the our phone number (707-895-3477) and speaking with our after-hours call center. Anderson Valley Health Center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 245b, and deemed a Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233 (g)-(n).
We provide services to the Anderson Valley and surrounding community. Once your appointment has been scheduled, please plan to bring your insurance card information, all your current medications, and a list of questions and or ongoing concerns to share with your provider. If you want to reach us outside of our business hours, an answering service will take your call.
We would like to clarify a few issues regarding the difference between a Dispensary versus a Pharmacy. As a Dispensary, we do not have a Pharmacist full-time on staff, rather we have a Consulting Pharmacist who reviews our operations every 3 months. All of our medications must be handled exclusively by Licensed Personnel which includes Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dentist and RNs.
