We are a branch of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and are located just 40 minutes southeast of Indy on the banks of the Flat Rock River!. We offer a wide variety of personal growth opportunities and outdoor experiences. We invite you to explore our website and plan your camper's summer camp adventure, your family's weekend or your group's retreat.
Services
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Meet our Full Time Leadership Team and learn more about how we select and train our seasonal staff. We are proud of our facility and are committed to keeping our buildings and grounds groomed and ready for all your adventures.
As a father of two young men who grew up at camp, I fully appreciate the challenges faced in trying to provide positive experiences that will help prepare our children for the future. For this reason, we are eager to partner with you as we know how much a camp experience can enrich your child's life.
Why 3 rates? As a YMCA, we understand that families have differing abilities to pay and as such, we offer a 3 rate pricing structure. No additional paperwork is required. When you register your child, take a moment to look at the rate descriptions below and determine which of the 3 rates your family is able and willing to pay for your child's camp experience.
With our focus on individual growth and building self-confidence, nobody does summer camp like the YMCA. Flat Rock River YMCA Camp provides a safe, fun, and transformational environment for our campers to explore nature, find new talents, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories.
Our focus on the responsibility and delight of caring for horses is the heart of our program. When you are open to learning about and relating to horses, you cannot help but be affected by them. Half of your program day is spent at the Ranch. Our program includes both lessons and trail rides and is for anyone that wishes to learn more about horses and riding regardless of previous experience.

I came here with my daughter's 5th grade school 🚸 trip. It was great 😊. The students got to learn 🎓 and have tons of fun at the same time. There's so much to do here! Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is great. They are always willing to assist in any way they can. They also have family camps. I would like to go back in the future.

Had a really fun time there with my camp. The site is really clean and closer together than other camps, and it really feels nice walking around it. The cabins are nice and warm and pretty big, and the bathrooms are really clean. The river is beautiful to look at, especially when it freezes over. Overall, I'm looking forward for the next time I come here. The only thing I hope they good is the egg water!

Have sent both of my kids the last 9 years. I've watched it grow and improve every year and be an incredible influence on them. The staffers truly like to be there which reflects in the way they treat campers and create a family like culture. A great tradition my kids looked forward to every year. Money very well spent.
