I don't disagree that most of the therapists here are very good, but I think it's important to be transparent of the cost. Shortly after waking up from shoulder surgery, a Howard Head therapist arrived in my Vail hospital room and provided me 20 min of therapy, of which my insurance was charged $200 for therapy and $215 for "evaluation". They received $375 from the insurance co. The following morning, I arrived for my mandatory therapy (pre-booked with a different therapist) feeling extremely dizzy and nauseous from the medication that I was given and received perhaps 5-10 min of therapy, at best

Every therapist I have worked with at Howard Head is world class. Each of them is just as talented as the other - Paul, Andrea, Mark, Pamela, Justin, Nate and those who support them like Brandon and Jacob. If I forgot a name then my mistake as I have only had the most exceptional experience at Howard Head and my surgeon was very pleased to see my progress.

The volume of patients going in and out of this facility would normally require a shuttle service and a revolving door. But since most of them are on crutches they speed is slow enough that regular doors work fine. That beings said, this group of world class physical therapists manages their massive workload with a highly personal level of care and attention. They work hard to get their patients back on their feet as happy, healthy, and expeditiously as possible.

After seeing Dr. Duffey in Colorado Springs and receiving a diagnosis of a labral tear I was told I was old, had run a lot of miles, and should take NSAIDs for 6 weeks and see if the pain decreased. I was told that I shouldn't do anymore as far as running, bike riding etc...I felt my life was changing in a bad way. I cried for 2 weeks, then started researching. The Steadman Clinic in Vail is lucky to have Dr. Marc Philippon - it took a lot of determination, moving to Vail for 4 months, and really wanting to get better, but 5 months later I'm still not running, but I'm getting
