Daniel is very knowledgeable about all types of sewing machines and more than willing to give the customer information about the proper care care and workings of their machine, often with a little historical info as bonus conversation. Turn around is usually relatively quick. I have had to wait before, but waiting my turn in line is and should be expected and even more so when parts have to be ordered. I will do almost anything to stay out of Los Anchorage!! The repair guy at Rhiel is a butcher. During my class for my brand new Babylock serger we were having trouble threading the machine through

A friend gave me a serger that had been sitting in a storage garage and was completely filthy. I took it to Daniel to see if it was fixable. It was fixable, but he let me know it would cost more than the machine (or a new one) was worth. I'm on a fixed income, so I really appreciated that honesty! I took another machine in recently (sewing PPE for local medical facilities) and he got it fixed and was nice enough to tell me what I had done to get it in that shape (singer bobbin in a brother machine for one thing) so I could avoid the errors in future; and replaced a part I thought couldn't be replaced

Total waste of 2 months. Condescending and phony. Lots of excuses for not providing services as described. Won't call back and only responded with the threat of legal action. Finally have my fur sewing machine back after 51 days, untouched and the same as I brought it in.
Take the drive and bring it to Anchorage.

Tuesday, 30 June: I called this shop and asked whether I might schedule a cleaning and belt replacement for my machine, a Bernina 730 Record, and whether I should order& bring a belt for it in. Daniel told me that I could just come right in with the machine during business hours and that the belt was unnecessary. That same day a couple hours later I brought it over. Daniel talked about how he had gotten into the business, how he valued customer service, how he is a dying breed, how he excelled at the work when he first got in, his various shop locations, etc. He also asked what my time frame was

Based on the ratings, we took our Babylock Serger in to this man for repair. After two weeks of waiting for him to repair the machine, he called and said that he’d spent 8 hours trying to fix it and he wasn’t able to complete the repair. He assured us that someone would be able to fix the machine, but it wasn’t him and charged us $179.00 for his time.
We took the machine to Riehl Sew and Vac the next day. We spent $ 378.00 in order to get the machine back to “ usable” condition, but they cautioned us that it was obvious that someone had recently tried to take the machine apart and had

This is only the second time I have needed a repair on one of my machines that was not under warranty any longer. I was forced to take my machines to Anchorage because of the gold standard plan I purchased, which was a great deal because a simple cleaning alone I think it's somewhere around $129, $149, or $179 because of the type of machine I have. Now I don't have to go to Los Anchorage!!! Anyway, Daniel really knows his stuff and he is fair and honest and I don't have this gut feeling wondering "was everything that was supposed to be done to my machine really done?" He has moved locations-he

Highly recommended!!! Owner is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet who knows his sewing machines inside and out. He promptly fixed my simple but needed repair on the spot and refused to charge me anything because it was such an easy fix and the replacement part was under $5. I had to insist he take something for his time and the replacement part. Can’t suggest him enough!!!
