Aural rehabilitation is the process of identifying and diagnosing a hearing loss, providing different types of therapies to clients who are hearing impaired and implementing different amplification devices to aid the client's hearing abilities.
Aural rehabilitation includes specific procedures in which each therapy and amplification device has as its goal the habilitation or rehabilitation of persons to overcome the disability caused by a hearing impairment.We are proud to carry the battery with the longest projected battery life. The Rayovac battery is the hearing aid battery of choice as it lasts longer than most other batteries.

I have spent my entire career helping others. After 27 years in physical therapy services, I obtained my hearing instrument specialist licensure in 2010. In 2012, I achieved my National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. I married my high school sweetheart, Terry. We have one beautiful daughter, Kristin, who married my favorite son-in-law, Justin.
I was having trouble hearing for a period of time after losing my hearing due to going through chemotherapy treatment. Finally, I mustered up the courage to invest in hearing aids. I contacted Paula's Hearing Aid Services for a consultation. Paula administered the testing and determined that I did need hearing aids.
A diagnostic hearing evaluation is the first step in determining your hearing capability. If you have a hearing loss, it will detail the extent, type, and specifics of your particular hearing loss. The diagnostic hearing evaluation will be performed by Paula, our hearing instrument specialist, using equipment called an audiometer.
There are many steps that are part of a hearing aid evaluation. If you suspect that you might need a hearing aid, you will first need to have a hearing evaluation. At the time of the hearing evaluation, a case history will be taken to determine how much your hearing problem impacts your day-to-day life as well as the lives of your family.

Excellent!!! Friendly, efficient & knowledgeable staff. Clean modern office, plenty of parking. Free return visits for tune ups and cleanings. Available anytime in person or phone to answer questions. Paula's carrys a couple different brands of hearing aids on site & reasonable pricing.Paula's Hearing is, in my estimation, the best in Mitchell!

I am so very pleased with the service that I received at Paula's Hearing Aid Services, LLC, in Mitchell, SD. She really took her time with me, explaining every little step of the thorough hearing evaluation. After I received my hearing aids, Paula called to check up on how they were working. Also, she taught me again how to clean them and adjust them to eliminate background noise, such as, in a restaurant.
