Badger Federal Services
Our fleet is comprised of 53' dry vans, all maintained at our on-site maintenance facility. Our primary shipping lanes are throughout the Midwest Region including: Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan. We also handle intrastate Wisconsin movements. We know what we are good at and that is Midwest Regional Service.

This gives us options and sometimes you need options with ever-changing demands and shipment availability. In 1982 when my father, William Dougherty started the Company, he put everything he had into it. There were rules about how drivers were treated and what we did or did not do as compared to many of our competitors.
Services
Badger Federal Services, Inc. is a Wisconsin-based dry van truckload carrier that primarily services a 500-mile radius of its corporate headquarters, located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. William J. Dougherty founded Badger Federal Services, Inc. in 1982 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin as an intrastate trucking company.
It is our goal to provide you with transportation services that fit your needs and requirements. We primarily handle truckload freight between Wisconsin and the Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa, Minnesota) as well as intrastate moves within Wisconsin. Our primary shipping lanes are throughout the Midwest Region including: Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan.
With today's economy, even the most minor tractor or trailer repair can be extremely costly on the road. Take your truck or trailer to someone that understands the need for quality work without excessive fees. We have a fleet of our own and we know that you should not be taken of advantage on the road because you had a truck breakdown.
At Badger Federal Services, Inc. you will receive that and more. We want to provide our driving professionals the miles, home time, and quality of life they deserve. We invite you to become part of our team as a truck driver, for the long haul. You won't believe how much better trucking can be. We also offer a weekly mileage bonus of up to.03/mile.

Dale, the Safety Manager, works with prospective employees and with current employees to help develop a plan for career development with the company. For new drivers like me, graduating from a truck driving training program, this is a good company to work for. Why? First, the pay is above what other companies are offering new drivers. Second, your treated as a person not a number. And Third, your experience level is allowed to go at your rate of comfort. This combination makes for a good driving experience and a great opportunity to grow with a company that will invest in you as a professional

On 10-13-20 I called and asked Badger Federal to help with an unusual issue.
The sandshoe of my landing gear fell off of the leg support on my trailer. They came and met me by my customer I had just emptied out at.
They looked at the situation and drove their pickup and guided me back to the service facility.
They put the trailer on supports and grinded and cleaned the pin mount and dollies. They then welded the pin mount to the dolly, and assembled the pin and the sand shoe. (Basically the sand shoe fell off and the did what was needed to put it back on the trailer).
I couldn't have been more

I worked for this company on and off for 15 years. Time off was my fault due to family needs. They understand that life happens. As long as you go there to work it's a great place to work. They're fair with pay and there trucks are maintained probably the best in the industry with there on site shop. They don't have frills but they have work. They're not the kind of company who try to find things to blame on the driver.

This company is somewhat unorganized you have dispatch who is somewhat rude to the drivers the company sometimes appreciates the driver but most of the time they really don't appreciate their drivers on the hard work that they do on the road for them you're promised a sign on bonus but they split that sign up bonus in two 6 month increments and if you make one mistake you Lewis at sign on bonus the pay is not the greatest and the miles are not the greatest either an average driver only makes 2700 miles but then they'll ticket 8% up to 10% of your milesbut the only way to make a somewhat decent
