Felix and the former Theresa Savon established BMS in 1982. Robin S. Ivany, Felix and Theresa's daughter, helped start the company and now serves as it's Vice President and General Manager.
All home medical supply companies are NOT the same. The quality of home care can differ significantly from one organization to another. The State of Ohio has established licensure laws governing these types of companies. These rules establish the minimum requirements for operating a DME (durable medical equipment) company.

DO NOT USE BMS.... I have always heard poor feedback from my clients on their customer service, but until last week I've never had the misfortune of using them. What should have been a simple COVID test, turned into a communication nightmare, or rather a non-communication problem.
One, don't offer 2-3 day results if in can't realistically takes a week or more; there are other businesses who will get it done.
Two, don't tell me you'll call and then fail to do so.
Three, you really should let people know the sender name if you are not using your business name.
Sub-par customer service; not even

I called for a COVID test and the receptionist told me it's $40.00 for them to do it there. Everyone else in the area is doing it for free (charging your insurance company or the federal program for the uninsured). When I asked about why, the receptionist avoided answering the question and didn't offer to process via insurance/the fed program, then quickly hung up the phone (while being 'polite'). I'm assuming that they take money from both your pocket and the fed program to process a $25 rapid test you can buy yourself at a local pharmacy. Rude receptionist (but talked nice as if she's practiced

They definitely have a customer service issue. They never answer their phone, or you are constantly in a loop of recording how important you are to them, only to be cut off. Then you have to redial and start over.
Once you reach someone, it doesn’t get any better. I usually call the Gerad warehouse to reorder Cpap supplies. It’s been 5 years now, and they usually give me a hassle over the phone. They can’t order what you want, they can’t order a specific mask....oh, “ maybe you would like something we have in stock.” Really?
They can’t ship supplies....you have to pick them up.

Great place but extremely hard to get a hold of them lately. When I call for anything in this past month...May of 2019, It's a long wait and then defaults to a voicemail even if you would rather wait. You have no choice anymore but to leave a voicemail. And I've been calling for 3 days straight and have yet to receive a call back. I guess to get service now, one must drive there. I've had an order there since 4/29 and didn't even know my doctor got it approved through insurance. I suppose she thought they'd contact me. When I called Dr back to find out status, she said its ready at Boardman Medical
