Excel Lawns & Landscape provides Lawn Services, Landscaping, Chemical Applications, and Snow Removal in Des Moines Area Metro. Founded in 2010, Excel Lawns and Landscape started out as a family-owned and operated lawn care business which soon expanded and evolved into a green industry's above-standard company.
As fun as it is to mow your lawn or plant a few roses and other gorgeous plants, lawn care is much more than this. All the elements on your property coexist - or should - in harmony and perfect balance. If the soil does not have enough nutrients, the effects will show everywhere. The same goes for a pest attack that can damage everything from the lawn to your trees.

We have had an outstanding experience with Excel Lawn & Landscape! Within 48 hours of calling, Mike was at our home helping us with a fungus that had invaded our yard. Less than a week later, the yard is showing significant improvement. Mike is very responsive to questions and knowledgeable. I love that he is willing to work with us on actions we can take to coordinate our efforts with his. He chose a very reasonable course of action for our lawn issues and the price is very fair. We plan to also use Excel for aeration and seeding this fall.

I have had the good fortune to have Mike DeWiese and his crew at Excel Lawn and Landscaping work on the landscaping of my house. Last year the retaining wall on part of the front and one whole side of my house was falling over. Mike and Ryan worked diligently on it by taking the wall completely apart, leveled it out and put in a drain system; attaching it to the downspout so that the rain going down the downspout would end up draining outside the wall and not push against the wall. The drain system not only works real well but the retaining wall is now very attractive to look at. They have also
