In 2011, Jim Daubenspeck purchased LaBelle's Shoe Repair, which was established in 1980, and renamed the business Daub's Cobbler Shop. Jim and Nate continue the tradition of providing the best possible service and quality to New Hampshire's Lakes Region, New England and beyond. Expert craftsmanship, quality work, and fair pricing are the foundation of our company.
At Daub's Cobbler Shop our goal is to provide the best possible shoe repairs for our customers. We're experts in both men's and women's shoe repairs, and we work with all sizes, colors, makes, brands, and materials. Through continued wear, leather becomes softer, more comfortable, and achieves that desirable "broken-in" look. Daubs' Cobbler Shop can keep your leather handbag, wallet, briefcase, and luggage looking beautiful for years. When we receive your item we meticulously examine the entire handbag to determine how to move forward with the cleaning and restoration. If stains are present, we determine what type they are-water based or oil based-and then use the appropriate cleaning agent to remove the stain.

Thank you Daubs for rescuing my venerable leather lined Raichle Mt Track hiking boots. My new sole has the excellent bite & grip of the old, but now with a much better cushioned midsole. I am delighted.
PS I had an pair of Meindls resoled years ago at a different place. They came back smaller, with a sole that was not as good as the original. So I am extra happy with my experience with Daubs.

I was so worried when the buckle to my Gucci belt started to break off, but after talking with the men down at Daub’s Cobbler shop I felt like I was in good hands! When I got my belt back I was blown away. It looked like a brand new belt. Everything was put back together perfectly and they even polished it. I can’t remember the last time my belt looked this good! Highly recommend them, and will definitely go to them for any further needs.

I sent in my Asolo TPS 520 GV Evo boots to Daub's since it was the closest recommended cobbler shop recommended on the manufacturers website (I'm in NYC). Jim was so great and quick with responding to all of my questions. They were able to repair my boots in time for a fast approaching camping trip. The boots just came back in the mail and look so great! Can't recommend this shop enough.

My fiancée is a leather worker and bought me these hand made boots from Guatemala a few years ago. I wore them every where until the soles were all but gone so I took the to Daub’s Cobbler and they fixed them up better than new!!! I love them so much and will be wearing them on our wedding day! What a great establishment! Owner worked very hard on my boyfriends sandals and listened to what we wanted to accomplish with the built-in orthopedic lift for them. I would HIGHLY recommend Daub's Cobbler Shop and we will definitely go back again!! To be honest, it got us excited to shop for shoes again (something we dreaded because the choices were limited) but now, we know what to look for and that Daub's will do an excellent job. He was very responsive to my message, too. Great little place off from the Main Street area.

Why buy new when you can re-sole your favorite pair of boots! You worked hard to break them in - so have them repaired at Daub’s! Father and son team are incredibly knowledgeable, their prices are reasonable and they are wicked nice! They do more than shoes and boots - they repaired a leather couch cushion for me and I couldn’t find the repair! The best. Thank you, guys! See you soon.

Perfect experience! Friendly, efficient, great craftsmanship! I have "difficult to shop for" feet. Jim lead me to a pair of shoes that fit my feet perfectly. I have never had that happen in my life! I was able to bring my work belt in and get a new hole made. My job was working me ragged. I was losing weight!
The job was done free. What service!
I was told I would not be provided gratis service if I needed a hole made for the opposite problem.
This is motivation to this day to limit my doughnut consumption to only two a day--although I still make Homer Simpson-like noises.

Trying to find a Cobbler these days is very hard. I had a pair of leather boots I bought from LL Bean in 1976--43 years ago. The boots have their own story which they carry to this day in the form of a repair to the inside of the left boot from trying to make a rescue fire after our jeep broke down and we were stranded in the Maasai Mara in Kenya. Now 43 years later after multiple times of considering to either toss them or put them on a mantle piece after being told by another Cobbler [no longer in business] they were hopeless. Daub's Cobbler Shop took my super old (but forever my favorite) pair of boots and gave them some TLC treatment. I have actual tread on the bottom of them now, and they got cleaned/re-laced, etc.
It took them less than a week (I received a text-alert that they were done and ready to picked up whenever) and they did it at a super reasonable price.
If anyone has shoes (bags, etc.) that need fixing or sprucing, I definitely recommend going here! For me, it was a really great first experience, and I'll be sure to be back if I need any other shoes (that I love enough to get repaired) done

I brought two pair of my wife's dress boots into Daub's; they needed heel and toe work. The place is fantastic. There's the smell of leather and polish, and a lovely sitting area featuring a few American made shoe brands for sale; and then there's the workshop out back. The shop has benches, tools, 6 or 8 polishing stations, and serious sewing equipment. He's got bags, belts, purses, jackets...and shoes galore lined up to be repaired. When I picked up my wife's boots (which he did remarkably fast), the heels and toes looked new. He did an excellent job restoring

Had the insoles replaced on an old, but still serviceable pair of leather shoes here. Jim did a quality job, quickly, and at a fair price. He had other leather products in his shop for repairs, and also sells new boots and shoes.
I'm glad to have a cobbler somewhat local to do repairs, instead of tossing away otherwise serviceable goods. Support local businesses such as Daub's Cobbler Shop!

Love this place. Did a wonderful job on my leather boot that needed a zipper. Been to 2 places who "fixed" it but it was never really fixed until this place explained what they did and now it is perfect an have no issues. He even gave me tips on doing maintenance on my metal zippers including the expensive pocket books that have zippers that like to stick so I bought a stick of the special wax and now they zip like my cheap pocket books do which is perfect lol. I highly recommend this place and he is a really nice guy as well very personable.
