The Collision Shop Gratiot Ave realizes that your vehicle is your second largest investment!. When it is involved in an accident you expect it to be repaired properly the first time. The Collision Shop Gratiot Ave refinishes, all repaired or replaced areas of your vehicle with a factory package paint, this is the same paint that was used at the factory when the vehicle was originally manufactured.
Most of which are paid for by one of the major auto insurance companies. We will put your vehicle back to pre-accident condition, structurally and cosmetically. Using factory specification we straighten the frame or uni-body to it's pre-accident condition, parts are replaced with OEM, (Original Equipment Manufacture), reconditioned, or with Aftermarket Parts, (Lifetime Guarantee), depending on the customers request and budget.
At The Collision Shop Gratiot Ave we understand the importance of repairing your vehicle to Pre-accident condition. This includes glass replacement when a vehicle has been involved in an accident. Today's modern vehicles have two types of glass: Fixed Glass, (windshield, back and 1/4 glass), and Moveable Glass, (door glass and back glass on SUV's).

Amazing job. Being a car enthusiast myself, it's very difficult for me to find a place I can trust with my keys and a shop's work. I got side swiped (with a pretty bad dent) months ago. Took it to these guys, and not only did they finish in two days, the dent is completely gone both from the inside and outside of the panel. And they detailed my car for me! I asked them not to paint it since I will be wrapping the car again but no one will ever be able to tell something happened. Only referring this place to my friends/family from now on!

First the place was supposed to open at 9 and had to call twice before anyone unlocked the front door.
The gentleman who came out was very unprofessional on every level. Acted like he was being bothered by us being there.
First we were told it would cost $500 to take everything apart to assess the damage and that the $500 would go towards the cost of the repair.
Once inside to do paperwork the gentleman asked us how much do we think it’s going to cost and we said about $2,000 and he was like oh no it’s going to be double that and it’s not worth fixing it.
Mind you we told him we were

My car was damaged in a parking lot by a hit and run driver. The Collision Shop was recommended to me by a friend, who told me how great they did with his vehicle repairs. From start to finish I had an amazing experience! My car was promptly looked at, worked on, and honestly looks better than new now that I have it back! I do want to say, there is a reason why they have been in business all these years. The pride of ownership exhibited by this business is evident the minute that you walk in the door. They are friendly and super helpful. It's obvious that customer service is top priority here.

The most understanding and thorough body shop with many yrs experience. The whole passenger side of the car was taken out by a deer and the rear quarter panel had to be cut out and welded and the 2 passenger doors replaced and everything painted to factory specs with a lifetime warranty on paint and then they detailed the car before I picked it up...looked and felt better the new and I could not be happier!...I would recommend them to anyone and they stand behind their work. Anything I asked them to do they did inc document the process with pics and added a aftermarket part too...thx Mo and the
