I'm originally from Kentucky but I have lived in Iowa for over 15 years now. I am a proud husband, father, and your newest Indianola State Farm Agent. I met my amazing wife, Jennifer, and we've found Warren County to be a great place to raise our family. In our free time we love giving back to our community, attending our local church, and being outdoors as much as we can whether it's biking, walking, or exploring our neighborhood.
When I'm off dad-duty, I love to golf! I have been in the financial industry for more than 16 years. From commercial to consumer, to customer interaction training, I've done a little bit of everything. I started my career with State Farm Insurance in June of 2019 when the opportunity to open my agency in Indianola presented itself.

Please do yourself a favor and do not go with State Farm for insurance!! They wrote a policy for me that as it turns out was incorrect, so for the past 7 years I thought I had, and was paying for coverage that they would not have paid out. The then agent knew I would not get that payout, but wrote the policy so I was being over charged And I have recently learned he is now a trainer for SF and teaching others to commit fraud. The very sad part of this is they did the very same thing to my elderly Mother. Shame on State Farm!

While I have been with State Farm for 44 years, I recently switched to Barry Green’s office and have never had better service. Normally when I call, Barry answers the phone but when he does not the knowledgeable staff handle’s every question as if it were the most important question they ever received. With many changes in my life (moving, new… house, blended household, and teenage drivers), Barry took the time to look deep into my insurance needs to protect myself and family. He informed me of my available options and answered my questions and allowed me to decide what I wanted

Both gentleman I spoke to were very nice and helpful. I have 2 young kids and while on the phone Barry was VERY understanding when I had to keep speaking to my children. I appreciate his patience and so thankful for him helping me get everything done that I needed. I was able to get insurance for a reasonable price. I’m glad I went with State Farm!

Barry has always been professional and went the extra mile for me. A few weeks ago, I had some issues with the Mercedes dealership and he was able to get the proper paperwork for me with no problem.
Barry has always been very informative and prompt when I had a question about my auto or home insurance. He’s flexible when it comes to either talking over the phone or just simply texting. I’d recommend him and his services for sure.
