A vented gas log gives you an alternative to the traditional gas logs when deciding what to use for your fireplace fuel. Vented gas logs generate less heat when burned, but even more importantly, they create a more realistic and larger yellow flame which will bathe your fireplace area in a romantic amber hue.
If you want to go green with your fireplace experience, you will be interested in ventless or vent-free gas logs. These logs offer very low fumes and in turn less pollution from your fireplace. Also, these ventless gas logs have a slightly lower gas consumption, which will lower the overall cost of operating your fireplace.

Called regarding A problem with my gas fireplace. Initially, they were very responsive and even diagnosed it over the phone so when they did come out to see the unit they would have appropriate parts. According to them The part was ordered on February 14 it would probably take about a week. The week goes by and nothing, they contact me again to say it should be in any day. Moral of the story is over three weeks went by and the part never came in, but the worst part is that the final week and a half of dealing with this company I had asked several times for them to contact the manufacturer and try

We had water staining on our interior walls That was damp and didn’t know what was causing it. We knew the chimney ran behind that area, so called out Chicago Fireplace & Chimney to come out and look to see if they could determine the issue. Sean came out within a few days, looked everything over and determined that our 2 year old furnace and water heater was causing the moisture issue. The solution was installing a chimney liner. They sent out 2 guys to do the chimney liner installation. They were very professional and explained everything to us during the entire job. They also showed us pictures

Top notch service. Manager came out the next day personally to inspect and give me an estimate and I was scheduled within a week after confirming. These guys were very affordable compared to others in the area - large companies and one-man teams alike.
Work site was clean and neighbors on both sides complimented how polite and professional workers were - so much so that they both hired them on the spot.
Happy I found them and will be recommending to all family in the area.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. CALL SOMEONE ELSE. I had this company come out to replace a valve for our gas fireplace. We also had the fireplace cleaned and inspected. The charge was $498 paid on the spot upon completion. I did not choose nor was consulted as to which valve would be installed. I even sent pictures of the existing valve and fireplace a week before so that the company and tech could be properly prepared come the date of service. Within days of the installation, the valve became too hot to touch and was rendered useless, along with the fireplace. The fireplace was

Not sure where the guy with 1 star came from, but there is always one in the crowd that has to try to ruin a businesses reputation to get a lower price.
We used this company to replace a complete chimney and another fireplace. The work could not have been more beautiful. The workers were excellent, the owner and staff were top notch and the work was competed quickly and correctly. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for ANYTHING to do with your fireplace.
Don't waste your time looking at any other company. And ignore the 1 star review.
