Less than truckload freight shipping (LTL) is used for the transportation of freight that doesn't require the use of an entire trailer. Specialized is used for transportation for moving oversize or overweight loads too large for road travel without an escort and special permits. This was not our biggest, heaviest, or longest load but it is our most important load we have done.
We had the honor of shipping this load from JFK airport in New York to Fire Station 15 in Bakersfield CA. In 2019 Portland's Historic Providence Park completed an $85 million upgrade. We hauled dozens of loads of trusses for the overhead structure of the stadium. These loads were all shapes and sizes which caused a combination of over width, over length, and or over height.
