Lisa explains everything in plain a easy to understand language. She is excellent at helping people navigate the legal system and doesn't make things more complicated (costly) for her clients. Lisa is compassionate but also practical. I would (and have) recommend her to anyone in need of her services.
Lisa did several things for us. First, she set up a Special Needs Trust for a disabled relative and she was speedy and detailed and always available for consultation and changes. Then, when the trustee had to be changed, she turned on a dime and got everything done, making the time to come to Raymond for a telephone conference with out-of-state relatives so we could get documents redone accurately and in a timely matter.

Services
In 1998, Lisa became one of the first judicial officers to serve in the (then) new Family Division of the Maine District Court where she presided over family law cases for almost five years. At that time, Lisa believed that by starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal matters and with greater flexibility.
Lisa serves clients in Portland, Windham, Falmouth, Scarborough, and surrounding areas in Southern Maine. Lisa provides estate planning services for people and families of all income levels. Whether you are seeking legal services for a simple will, or you have significant assets you want to preserve, Lisa can help.
Guardianships are used to arrange for care and custody of a person, and conservatorships are used to arrange for the management of a person's financial affairs. When there are no suitable alternatives, guardianship or conservatorship proceedings may be unavoidable.
If you or a loved one becomes disabled or incapacitated and there is no existing Power of Attorney in place, then a Guardian must be appointed by the court to care for you and manage your personal affairs.Upon appointment of a Guardian, you may lose certain legal rights to act on your own behalf, and the Guardian will be empowered to act for you.

I originally called Lisa with some general probate questions. She ended up not only fully answering all my questions but actually helping me solve my problem completely!! All in one phone call!! And I live in the Seattle area!! It was all wrapped up by the following day! The 1st attorney’s office I reached out to set me up for a video appointment for a month out for $425 for just the initial consult!!!
Needless to say when I have further legal business in Maine I will be gladly looking up Lisa again! A+!

My cousins were very impressed, and I could not have been more pleased. Excellent, responsive service and a terrific person. She was so terrific that, when I found I needed a will
