Are you interested in the permanent makeup industry but do not have the funds to pay for training at this time?. Work as an apprentice/assistant and get paid to learn. Learn the ins & outs of the day to day life of a permanent makeup artist. This position has the potential to turn into an artist in-residence opportunity once apprentice reaches certification through our program.
The Brow Boutique offers courses for those that would like to learn how to thread and receive a one-day threading certification in the Louisville area. Selma offers one day Threading Courses where you can receive your threading certificate in Louisville that same day. Our Threading course is open to anyone wanting to learn and you do not have to have a cosmetics or esthetics license to take this course.
If you are currently on this medication you MUST BE OFF 4 weeks prior to your appointment. Day of: Keep treated area dry for the first 4 hours after your permanent make-up appointment. After four hours you can begin aftercare instructions provided below. Apply professional grade healing ointment (no petroleum based products) to area after wetting to lock-in moisture.

Selma does a fantasic job threading my eyebrows. I have no complaints. I've always been on time and I've never had to wait. The office is clean and fancy (so is Selma 😊), which I have to admit that I like 👍🏼! She is the only person that's threaded my brows so I have nothing to compare her against but I am tickled pink with my brows. I highly recommend

I have been going to Selma for about 5 months now and she is always so sweet whenever I stop by. She is extremely detailed and takes her time when working on my brows, this is something I truly appreciate since I have had bad experiences prior to coming to her. She always ask me if I’m satisfied with her work and is always willing to make any minor adjustments that I suggest. She has transformed my brows for the better!! I had powder brows done by Selma - she was absolutely amazing! My eyebrows look great and she was so sweet. Since this was my first time getting them done, I had tons of questions and anxiety at the beginning of healing process, but Selma answered all of my questions and concerns and made me feel confident about everything. It was tucked back in an industrial park and was very clean and cute. Selma made me feel comfortable right away and after some numbing gel, I was relaxing while she was working on my brows. After some measuring and shaping, she performed a blade and shade that really shaped my brows and made them look great.

Just had microblading and ombré shading done and I have very sparse brows. I can't do eyebrow makeup with any finesse and now I have perfectly done eyebrows! It was an EXTREMELY CLEAN AND HYGENIC business. I was very impressed. I just love my new eyebrows. Selma is very meticulous and artistic. You can totally trust her to leave you looking good.

I just went to this place and I found it great! Selma is a very professional, super gentle and perfectionist girl. I love what she did to my eyebrows! She make me feel confident again! I'm soo happy to have found the Brow Boutique! I was in the search for a great place to get my eye brows threaded when I moved here a couple years ago! Ever since then Selma is the only one I let do my eyebrows. She is amazing at what she does and my eyebrows always look perfect! I would highly recommend checking out her website, as she has so much more to offer than threading! Definitely schedule an appointment while your on the website, she books up quickly!!

My experience with the brow boutique has been absolutely amazing. Selma knows exactly what she is doing and is very good at what she does. Always a pleasant and stress free experience, and not to mention the clean environment. It is super easy to book online, with no waiting once you arrive. I decided to try a new threading place, unsure of how I would feel, but I am SO happy with the result. If you’re thinking of going anywhere else to get your eyebrows threaded, don’t. I'm so lazy about brow maintenance. My red hair also makes my brows and lashes light so I need periodic help to shape them so I can add color and not have the appearance of a lumberjack.
Scrolling through Yelp this spot appeared under the preferences section and it was close. I was able to view appointments and pricing online, plus book a time with a credit card deposit. One was available this afternoon so I took it and here I am!

This establishment cured all of my brow worries! I feared that I would never find a salon that compares to my last, but alas I was wrong. This brow spot is so cute and well done and they specialize on brows so you can really trust them! It's off the beaten path, but it truly is an awesome spot to check out!

I have come here twice so far to get my eyebrows threaded and Selma has done an awesome job. The first time I came, I explained that I was trying to grow out my eyebrows and she shaped them accordingly. The second time I came, they had grown out a bit and she truly worked magic on them. At least two people complimented me on my eyebrows later that day. They looked fantastic.
