Through establishing a supportive, safe, and encouraging environment, Dr. Crum examines the ins and outs of your child's thinking patterns, emotions, and behaviors across multiple meetings.Dr. Crum comprehensively explains the results of the evaluation, while discussing individually tailored treatment recommendations that are applicable across settings (E.g., home, school, social, and interpersonal).

Reno Psychological Services is proud to partner with CogNet Rehab Solutions (CRS) as its forensic administrator. CogNet offers both assessment and treatment options for individuals who have sustained a concussion or mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI). Dr. Crum has aligned with CogNet to support his forensic practice providing psychological and neuropsychological services to Reno residents and abroad.

I took my thirteen year old son here to find out the cause of his extreme shyness. We were met with an abundance of empathy and compassion. Dr. J.P. Crum sets the bar for excellence in his field and there isn't anyone more thorough and caring. Very professional and they truly care. If one were to go anywhere else in Northern Nevada for their mental health needs, they would be truly settling for second best. Thsnk you for helping my son, RPS. We are very grateful.

Some people are here on this Earth to help others and J P is one of those people. He is kind, thoughtful, and considerate and a real pleasure to work with. His compassionate demeanor is backed by thorough knowledge and education - he understands the science behind these complicated brains of ours. Tammy is also great she has been helpful and understanding at all times. Don't take my word for it give them a call you will be glad you did.

I can’t even begin to express how pleased I am with my child’s evaluation from Dr. Crum. It was worth the wait. He is VERY thorough and did several different tests on different days with my son. The report I received with the results & recommendations were exactly what I was looking for. I am so relieved and wish I would have done this sooner. Dr Crum is a Dr of Psychology who puts his patients well being first. Most psychologists will see patients on a routine with out a comprehensive diagnosis. You get the feeling from your first interaction with him of his competency, honesty, and commitment to his patients. I would give him more than 5 stars if it were possible.

J.P. has a very friendly demeanor, easy to talk to and great at earning kid's trust. He goes through a careful process to determine whether his patients have ADHD or not. It's very clear that passion is what drives him to do what he does. The office lady Tammy is very friendly helpful and kind as well.
