As with many start-ups and entrepreneurs, our road to business ownership wasn't a direct route, but more of a winding path that started with "What if.?" followed by opportunities, experiences, hard work, and people that mentored and encouraged us. That path began for us in 2003. Education completed, newly married, and searching for career-broadening opportunities, we settled in Bozeman, Montana.

Heritage Woodworks holds itself to the highest industry standards and is passionate about our work as a Licensed General Contractor and custom builder for residential, ranch, light commercial, and timber frame construction in Sheridan, Wyoming and surrounding areas. Our distinctive projects meld progressive design with innovation and craftsmanship in styles ranging from refined rustic to modern farmhouse to traditional mountain cabin.

Heritage Woodworks' carpentry shop is a natural extension of our construction services and a direct reflection of our commitment to creativity and craftsmanship. Adhering to traditional woodworking and authentic joinery techniques, we work with a diverse selection of materials, including both new and reclaimed wood species, logs, metal, glass, and salvaged finds.

Old world craftsmanship, an appreciation of nature's timeless beauty, and a genuine passion for woodworking shapes our longstanding love of timber craft and log work. Backed by 15 years' experience, we hand-select and individually orient all materials used in our projects, whether we're working with reclaimed hand-hewn beams, new rough sawn timbers, or natural logs.
