Lerch Construction was founded in 1973 by John Lerch with his brother Robert Lerch. The company first began out of their parents' home in Palo Alto. Since then, Lerch Construction has grown and helped many people and families make their dream homes and built environments a reality.

We provide end to end services from design work through building to custom finishes. We have been building and remodeling custom homes and commercial units for clients in the Bay Area for greater than 40 years. Historical buildings are often beloved for their character and the unique feeling they evoke.
We take pride in creating hand-made, one-of-a-kind features that enable a truly unique feeling for our clients. We have made everything from replica stone carvings using poured concrete molds to hand-hewn lumber beams. Many of the finished details in the homes and commercial units we build are created in our shop that is in the back of our front office.
