The process we use when cleaning all types of roofing materials including asphalt shingles, slate tiles, metal and tile roofs, is called softwashing. The softwash process utilizes a low pressure cleaning solution application which will remove the black streaks, algae, lichen, mildew and moss from your roof.
Clean Solutions uses a safe, non pressure cleaning method called soft washing. Soft washing is an alternative to Pressure Washing Services. It is used to clean exterior surfaces such as vinyl siding, gutters, soffits, stucco, and dryvit. This soft wash cleaning method offers amazing results without the damaging effects of high pressure cleaning.
We will only pressure wash hard exterior surfaces such as concrete sidewalks and patios or asphalt driveways. Other exterior surfaces are too delicate for the pressure put out by pressure washing equipment unless performed by a professional cleaning expert. Please note, you should never pressure wash a roof.

My roof looks great! We had moss growing on our roof from lack of sunshine and it came off. The moss was.beginning to damage the shingles by pushing them up. All the streaks are gone. Eric was careful on our roof and used low pressure systems to clean the roof and then took care to make sure our plants around the house were not harmed by the products used on the roof. I would completely recommend this service for anyone that is seeing streaks on their roof.
