FOUR WINDS RECOVERY CENTER is a private, non-profit providing treatment services for adults struggling with substance use; including co-occurring mental health disorders.

We offer three distinct levels of care: residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and outpatient aftercare. Four Winds Recovery Center has been providing quality addiction treatment since 1979. FOUR WINDS RECOVERY CENTER serves adults from San Juan County, the neighboring Navajo Nation, communities throughout the state of New Mexico as well as Four Corners area.
Services
FOUR WINDS RECOVERY CENTER accepts referrals from individuals, medical providers, probation/ parole, local law enforcement, etc. Treatment costs are determined by a number of factors including income, household size, and residency (Sliding Scale). There are a variety of payment options that may be arranged; including financing through our newest partner - Prosper Healthcare Lending.
Items to bring at time of admission: (Items can only be dropped of on Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm.) Small amount of money ($1 bills only) Will be allowed to pick up money from the bank or wire transfer only on the 1st and 15th of every month. Clothing that is tight fitting (spandex, leggings, Yoga Pants), torn jeans/shirts, low cut blouses, hip huggers.
Appropriateness for admission is determined by substance abuse assessment completed no more than 30 days prior, completion of all screening tools, and an interview with intake coordinator. Individuals with previously diagnosed co-occurring mental health disorders must be stable with medications and able to be comfortable in a dormitory environment.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, approximately 16.7 million Americans were addicted or had problems directly related to their alcohol use in 2011. After alcohol, marijuana has the highest rate of users who meet criteria for dependence. The majority of these overdose deaths involve prescription pain medication such as Oxycontin, methadone, morphine, codeine, and hydrocodone.
Four Winds Recovery Center is staffed by a multidisciplinary group of skilled behavioral health professionals including:. Prescribing Psychologist; providing diagnostic and medication management services for co-occurring mental health disorders. Julie is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor with the State of New Mexico, and has an Associate's degree in Human Services.
