Metallurgical Engineering Services (MES) works with our clients to meet all of their field and laboratory testing needs at one company. We conduct testing of metals, polymers, ceramics, and other materials. Our broad range of lab testing services allows us to offer a one stop shop for all your testing needs.
Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDS) is a process that demonstrates what elements or characteristics are contained on a sample, e.g. Optical Emission (OES) testing identifies the elements in your bulk metal sample. This process is fast and accurate. Moreover, knowing what your metal contains will help you understand how you can use it and prevent failures or mishaps.

Failure analysis, materials analysis, testing, engineering reports, SEM, FTIR, nothing these folks can't do, no project too big or too small and unlike any other lab in the area these folks are a2la certified and have numerous engineers and certified PE's on staff. Newest and nicest SEM in Dallas-fort worth area easily. Long history of quality work done. Great facility, fair prices, accommodating to large groups, solo trips, mail in jobs etc. If you aren't using Daniel Stolk and his outfit at MES you aren't getting the best testing at the best price.

This lab really is state of the art. They're quite versatile in their offerings, always professional, and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. They have a highly experienced staff of engineers which produce high quality and detailed reports.
