This is a unique semi-independent tour. You will travel by railway, panoramic train and ferries. There are no buses on the tour, except for the sightseeing in Oslo, so travel light. There will be an escort following the route of the tour between Bergen and Oslo who will take care of all vouchers and tickets.

This last January or so we made plans with this company for a Finland trip over Christmas. They gave me the details, told me the deposit, which I made and although the communication was a bit trying I was happy. About a month later I was informed I owed another $1,000 which I was not prepared for. After speaking with the "manager" we agreed I would pay that by March, which I did - not realizing a week later the pandemic would be all consuming. I am not addressing this issue any further.
Your organization and delivery of our tour was mostly just passable.
We were thoroughly disappointed with our guide. Unqualified, unmotivated and clueless !!

Flights, trains, private vehicles, meet/greet, airport pick ups/transfers, boats, 5 star hotel accommodations, private guides tours all done by Bobby for our 5 country tour. We started in Japan, across all of Russia and ended in the Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Sweden & Norway. Just the logistics of pulling this off for us is amazing and we are grateful for the way it all went. THANK YOU, BOBBY!!!

My Family and I recently toured Sweden, Norway and Copenhagen on Nordic Saga’s “Legends of Scandinavia Tour”. We all had a great time and found the tour to be a wonderful mix of sights ranging from city exploration (historical sites, museums, parks, and restaurants) in Stockholm, Bergen, Oslo, and Copenhagen; and travel through the countryside and fiords of Norway via bus, tram, and ship! Our last leg of the trip took us overnight from Oslo to Copenhagen via a ferry that had comfortable cabins and a wide variety of entertainment.

The 'Land of the Fjords' tour was fabulous! Wonderful tour guide (Anne) and coach driver Joron(sorry...spelling real wrong) - and great group of 'fellow'-travelers!
We received a wealth of information, the scenery is indescribable and the hotels were first class.
We couldn't have asked for a better tour in Norway (We fell in love with Norway and its' people!!).

Susie, We had a good time. Hotels were well chosen (though walking directions from/to train and boat would have helped). We especially enjoyed Kviknes in Balestrand. Oslo and Glacier tours were good, and we found a local celebration in Fjaerland. Connections worked well, though we were disappointed, that, as you discovered, there is no early boat from Balestrand to Bergen on Sundays (in June and July - high season!). It was raining while we had to wait for the evening boat. That was the only hitch. Nice job. - Tom

Susie M. was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She immediately asked me for a consulting fee despite not doing anything for me. I asked for a quote before paying her. I waited a week. No quote. I called and she sent me a vague itinerary using incorrect dates. When I supplied the correct dates, she said that because I was "making a change, she could not continue without a consulting fee." I have worked with many different travel agents over the years, and have never had such horrible service. I contacted a competitor and received 2 wonderful options with an itemized quote within a few

Nordic Saga made all of the arrangements including flights for our Baltic and Russian Explorer tour this July. Everything went so smoothly considering all of the transitions between cities and tour guides. They didn't miss a detail. The hotels were all well located, fantastically modern, comfortable, clean, and well deserving of 4 stars. We even had beautiful views from our hotels in Vilnius and Riga. Only our hotel Ibis in Moscow was a disappointing because of its more remote location from the commercial zone and its very modest furnishings. All of our guides except for one during the transition

Nordic Saga Tours-- "Splendor of the Fjords": If you are looking for a tour of southern part of Norway; highly recommend Nordic Sagas tour called "Splendor of the Fjords". It was very top notch in every way. Great accommodations, tour guide, food, travel content, etc.. you could not go wrong on with this choice.

We booked a Northern Lights tour with Nordic Saga in Iceland. It was phenomenal! The booking process was very easy. Our rep, Susie, was very responsive and accommodating.
We were on a bus tour, and the bus held 20 people. There were only 10 of us so we had ample room to spread out. Our tour guide, Helgi, was extremely knowledgable. It was like having our own personal Siri or Google! Additionally, he was easy mannered and answered all our questions even though we often asked the same thing twice! I felt very safe in his care. The hotels the Tour booked for us were great, as was the food. I

We used Nordic Saga several times over the last 7 years. They have arranged several overseas business trips and vacations for us. Dora Rozet is very professional and knowledgeable.
