I feel accomplished when both my clients and I had fun creating beautiful photographs together. I tend to laugh a lot and I hope you will too.
I shoot everything on location because photographing new people in new places inspires me. I'm always looking for interesting textures and elements of design to incorporate within my photographs. In my free time I enjoy dancing, experiencing the great outdoors, playing board games, learning piano and ukulele, working on ever changing art projects, solving puzzles, and appreciating new delicious foods.

Documenting joyful and momentous quarantine moments so you can remember some of the positive things during this time as well! Examples include- couples portraits, solo portraits, graduation, maternity, newborn, spending time with your kids, family sessions, birthdays, a new skill you've learned, cosplay, holidays, painting recreations, dance.
We had a very particular vision for our engagement shoot, and Jess made it come to life even more beautifully than we imagined it could. We really appreciate how well she not only understood the mood we wanted to create but added to the dreamy effect with her artistic eye and mastery of light. As everyone says, Jess' relaxed and warm demeanor makes it easy to be yourself on camera.

Jess Keener is one of the warmest and most professional photographers I’ve ever worked with. She does everything she can to make you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She has a creative eye for detail and always finds beauty in the most unexpected moments. And on top of all of that, she’s very punctual in giving you your photos.

I'm always so nervous about being in front of a camera, but my photo session with Jess was completely fun. She keeps the mood light-hearted and I giggled frequently while we did creative shots. My pictures turned out great too! I feel like she makes me look like the best version of myself. After our photoshoot, I recommended her to my coworker as a wedding photographer, and she loved her work too!

Jess is absolutely amazing- she did our wedding photos and made us feel incredibly comfortable. Her warmth and joy deep into everything she does and she was a wonderful presence on our wedding day. Jess was wonderful to work with. She made it fun, and our pictures turned out so great. She was patient with how awkward my husband and I are, and she was patient with our dogs! She was able to get lots of wonderful pictures of us with our dogs despite our one dog being an excitable puppy (basically a toddler) and interested in everything but the pictures!

Jessica is a delight to work with! She’s fun, energetic, and hilarious while staying meticulously professional. I’ve seen her make the most camera-shy people (myself included) feel comfortable and beautiful in front of her lens. She’s also got the fastest turn-around time on photos that I’ve ever seen (after four years in the wedding industry.) Her images have a lightness and glow to them, it’s very natural and will make you feel like a million bucks.

After referring Jess to several clients for their professional photos, I hired her myself! I love her style and ability to capture an individual's personality. She made me feel super comfortable and gave me posing tips to make sure we were getting the best shots possible. (I'm not used to being in front of the camera.) We shot 3 outfits and took shots all around Pioneer Square. I can't recommend her enough for your wedding, engagement, head shots, food shots, or other professional needs. And to top it off, her pricing was completely reasonable, and she got me my full-res digital images sooner than

The true gift of a great photographer is not just their technical skill (for Jessica Keener certainly has that) but their ability to make you feel so confident and at ease in front of a camera. She gave me dozens of shots where I’m genuinely laughing and smiling and I got so many great photos for promo out of our shoot that I’m still using them a year later.
