Stayed here for one night and it was ok. Pretty tight spacing but that's ok. In the morning we found that someone took our propane tank and notified the office. They said they would check their cameras, however we needed to get on the road. 30 miles south they called and stated that they found our tank and did we want to return to get it. We were driving in the middle of San Francisco so that wasn't an option. They did offer to pay for a new tank.

Mostly bad, one thing good...
The only thing good going for this place is the location and it’s access to San Francisco Bay Area, state parks and wine country.
Mostly bad....
Do not believe the reviews and the pictures that show a beautiful park like setting, which this RV park is clearly not ..... it is all blacktop, gravel and concrete. the spaces are some of the smallest, cramped RV spaces you will ever find.
If your rv has pop outs, you will almost touch the RV next to you!
This is clearly not a destination travel RV park, It is Right next to Highway 101 and you can hear the cars and

I reserved a space at Novado RV for 3 night. We live in Ventura and drove up on Sunday for a family meeting. My son was caring for our cat at home. We we arrived my son notified me that we had a pluming leak and there was water all over! Monday morning to went over to Novato RV and explained what happened and we need to drive home. The very nice girl as the front desk said "No problem" I said we were happy to pay for Monday night. She said no worries we got you covered and did not charge me a thing! As Arnold said "We'll Be Back"

This RV park is well established and has all the amenities one could wish for which include utilities hook ups ,showers restrooms laundry facilities fenced in dog run with picknic tables and a swimming pool and a wonderful convience store and deli that is family owned and opperated and the park office offers mail box service and a book and video lending library.
This is a family friendly RV park.
Safe and secure.
Nice staff.
Many nearby hiking trails and located with easy access to highway 101 and highway 37 .
The single reason for not getting a five star rating has to do with spacing of RV

This is a half trailer park, and half RV park. The RV part has a lot of long-term, if not permanent residents. That being said, the staff here is very friendly, and the RV park is very clean! The park is basically a grappling cement parking lot, with wide asphalt streets. There is a seasonal pool, and a deli that has a few grocery items, mainly drink. The deli has a great reputation for their sandwiches, although we did not partake. There is also a nice laundry facility, and restrooms. There are some very nice walking trails nearby, including a nearly 5 mi circuitous trail that goes past a nice

PROS: Probably the nicest RV-specific park in Marin County. Good location only with easy freeway access, about 30 minutes from San Francisco in normal traffic (during the morning commute hours it can take 90 minutes). Close to the Wine Country (30-45 minutes). 5 minutes to downtown Novato for nearby shopping. Hiking trails nearby. Spacious spots. Nice deli on-site open daily 8-6pm. Clean laundry room. The management is helpful.
CONS: On the expensive side but that is expected for this area. The WiFi is somewhat congested.

The key for this park is location. Only 1/2 hour to many different attractions including downtown San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, the Sonoma wine country, or a slightly longer drive over to Bodega Bay. The park itself is just functional. The sites are extremely tight so not a lot of privacy or outdoor space to relax. Each space has a picnic table, but it would be better to get rid of those to allow more outdoor space. The "dog park" is actually just an opening in the fence where you can walk out into a green space next to the road. Also be prepared for a lot of long term residents

This park has terrible customer service and after hours assistance. When you have an emergency you better be prepared to fend for yourself. The after hours line will only call whoever is on call and if they don't answer then forget about it. Sara who lives on site can't be bothered unless it's flood or a fire so you better figure out how to make that happen to get any type of extra customer service. We had the worst day and got terrible news in which my entire family was sobbing and we forgot to go grab our laundry at 830pm. By the time we realized it was 840pm and the doors where

We recommended this place to our relatives who came to visit and they absolutely LOVED it! Super convenient as it is right off the freeway and close to downtown Novato, 40 minutes to SF, 20 minutes to Sonoma wine country which was great because they really wanted to do some wine tasting. Was relieved to see how clean everything was - especially the bathrooms. We got to join them at the pool - and we had it all to ourselves all day. It was crystal clear and again super clean. I would definitely recommend this park to others and will do so in the future.

What people have to keep in mind is the name. The name contains "Park", it does not have "Resort" as part of the name. This is the perfect for a home base for exploring the north half of the Bay Area. Yes, the rate is high, but so are the real estate values in this area. I would rather pay more and have the park available than not have it at all. We felt safe and slept well. The cable tv worked well. The WIFI worked once they reset the router for us. The park was nice and clean. There is a large field to take your dogs to run and relieve them selves. Take your long line though

Pros: The "Park" is one of the few that is close to SF and the wine country.
Cons: The *EXPENSIVE* "Park" largely consists of permanent manufactured housing and full time residents in older RVs. The few spaces designated for short term campers are tight, graveled spaces which are mostly without trees or shade. The "dog exercise" area had a small trailer parked on it. The pool is hidden away and appears to be largely for the use of the owners. Right next to Hwy 101 and busy Atherton Ave. on two sides. Don't know about the deli/store, but from the outside

Good location for one night to run through San Fran early the next morning before traffic wakes up.
We always land Saturday to hit the road South early Sunday.
Lot of noisy kids from the prefabs that are part of the RV park. Skateboard between the RVs. Have to be careful opening your door going out or your RV.

Great location for doing San Fran and Napa. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm traveling alone and they were very quick to offer assistance getting backed into my space. It's a very clean campground and there is a lot of access to shopping, groceries, gas, etc., less than 5 minutes away. It's tucked away, but very close to the 101 so you do have a constant drone of traffic. I'm a light sleeper and haven't been kept awake by the freeway noise, as it's very constant. The outer loop is long term/residential, but I haven't experienced any issues with noise

This is a great park!
The strong points is the very nice people working there. Also, it is one of the closest RV parks to the Golden Gate and Napa Wine Country..
They have swimming Pool, Dog Park, Deli Food and Laundry Room.
You can get Direct Comcast. The water pressure is strong. Electricity does not have high voltage spikes. Note: The sewage pipe stands up tall from the ground.
It is very near to Novato City so you can go to whole Foods, Trader Joes, Safeway and Starbucks within 5 minutes. It also has beautiful trails around so you can walk or bicycle...
