Hannah is the best therapist I have ever had and helped me more than I thought was humanely possible. Sandi and AJ made me so happy and convinced me to stay so many times.
The friends I met here will be with me forever. I never thought I would EVER make it this far into recovery but I did thanks to the people here. Jeff is awesome and hilarious and has great socks. Lisa and Jojo and Janae and Hod and Kat and Mary are all actual angels. Rebecca always brought light to my week.

I fell down, hard, and Alsana helped me back on my feet. You guys were my family for a year and I would be dead without you. Kate Kaczor is the most spectacular eating disorder dietician I've ever met in my life. Every female staff felt like a big sister to me, helping me through recovery. I made relationships I'll have forever.
Rachel Lipstone, the DC at Stella, led some of the most incredible and insightful groups I've ever been a part of. The nursing staff were very kind and caring. Unfortunately, my experience with AJ the DC at Luna, texting and continuing a relationship with me post-discharge

If there was an option, I would give way more than 5 stars to this place. Westlake's PHP has a special place in my heart. The time that I spent there was so precious to me. Alsana has changed my life forever, and I will never forget the feeling of safety, connection and home that it provided for me when I so desperately needed it.

I would give this no stars if I could. I have held off on publicly posting about Alsana Birmingham out of respect for the humans who are trying to get help there. Humans who I love very much and am honored to have as part of my support network. AND I can not morally or ethically be silent any more. This facility is horrible for so many reasons. I have personal experience and I am learning more from others. They claim that they treat trauma and eating disorders and that is NOT the case at all. Most of the therapists there are newly
