This review is for Oscars Cabaret drag show. What a fabulous talent and fun out evening was from the hostess to the actors in the show. Small venue - Gypsy was fabulous and funny, worked the entire crowd, felt like we were family. The girls were awesome - loved classics such as Cher, Dolly and Whitney- my sons favorite was PInk.

If you are in Palm Springs and want to wine, dine, and feel funny & fine, then go to Oscar's in suite 108 for the one and only Carnival Cabaret! James "Gypsy" Haake stole the show as the host, comedian, and at age 84 can prove that you only get funnier as you age;) The cast of talented drag queen performers portrayed such legendary greats as Dionne Warwick, Dolly Parton, Madonna, Whitney Houston, and Judy Garland. This hour and a half show from 8pm-9:30pm was filled with laughs, music, and just pure joy:) The general admission show ticket was $44.95 each and because I called

Dinner and a show!? Amazing. I took my mom
last night for her birthday and let me tell you, it was the best time EVER! It was funny and the cast was unreal and the show itself was superb! I will definitely go back soon....oh and they totally called my mom put for her birthday and embarrassed her a bit....and I couldn't have been happier! Thank you so much for the wonderful evening!

The best! I've been to a lot of drag shows, and this is simply the best. The first time I went, I was so floored that a year later, when I decided to have a birthday party in Palm Springs, I brought all my friends with me. There were several new numbers from amazing talent - the Judy Garland performer made me tear up both times. Uncanny, lipsyncing perfection.
The emcee, Gypsy, is the funniest, quickest, epitome-of-class-act drag queen I have ever seen. A LEGEND in every sense of the word - you should consider yourself honored to be able to see her perform.

This show is a must for guests visiting and friends alike. I have seen the show multiple times and I've lost count. Maybe 8 or 9 times and thoroughly enjoy it every time. Gypsy, the main attraction for many reasons, changes things up with his brilliant commentary and interaction with the crowd. The line up of performers changes weekly as well and I have not tired of the same acts when I see those. My parents as well as friends have all loved it and we'll keep going back.

My sisters and I took our mom for Mothers day. When reservations were made, my sister let them know we were celebrating her birthday also, He, Jose, said not to worry, they would make it memorable for her...They did Not disappoint!!!!!!
Before the show, we ordered dinner, while it wasn't anything to write home about, it was very well priced, we had the trio Menu, appetizer, main course and dessert for $25.
The show, was in a word, amazing! From the first performer, to the finally, we were, laughing, clapping, cheering, laughing so hard we were in tears. The best was my mom's reaction

My friend and I went to Carnival Cabaret on a whim during our weekend in Palm Springs. We were there for the weekend, basically to eat, drink and shop, and we didn't know what to do at night. We came across an ad for Carnival Cabaret in our hotel room. I was just across the street and only about $20 per person.

Michael and Dan have a gem of a show on their hands. I can't thank them enough.
But, the Diamond goes to Gypsy and "her gals". Gypsy runs the joint like a boss. Quick quips and fun banter along with giving you a history of the stars, her past, and the show itself. Truly a delight. Love love love!!!
The costumes and numbers were fabulous! Truly remarkable!! My mother (yes, I totally took my mother!! What? That's why we get along so well!!) and I had such a great time meeting the cast after the show.
The theater is quaint, the servers were attentive and sweet, and

Had the best time ever !!! My partner and I took our Aunt there for her Birthday and after a scrumptious dinner and show they presented her with a cake. The whole crowd cheered and my Aunt who turned 76 said it was the best Birthday in her whole life! If you live in the Coachella Valley and have not seen this show, you are definitely missing out.

The highlight of my friend's "last FLING before the RING" bachelorette weekend was Carnival Cabaret. We loved every minute of it. Gypsy was hilarious - he had us laughing from beginning to end - and the impersonations were amazing. Each of us had a personal favorite. There is definitely something for everyone. Our bride-to-be was spoiled rotten. We loved it!
I highly recommend Carnival Cabaret and look forward to returning soon.
