We are Michael and Ashley Long. We're a husband and wife team that have been providing destination wedding videography together for about five years. Our approach on wedding videography; is that our job is to capture the emotions that are already happening. Instead of turning your wedding into a movie set, we prefer to step back and film all the interactions and moments that are already happening.
This allows you to be present with your wedding and enjoy it. We film with four cameras to provide full videography coverage of your ceremony, toasts, and reception. We sync all four cameras with our wireless audio for the highest level of wedding cinematography. As a husband & wife team we can easily film the bride and groom getting ready in separate locations.

So, you're getting married on Maui and are deciding who to use for your wedding photography. Michael and I got married on Maui in 2014 and had a really small wedding on a tight budget. So, we found a facebook group of wedding photographers on posted that we need a photographer for our wedding in Maui and have a budget of $1,500.
You can have a simple elopment on the beach. However, there are strict restrictions about not having an arch, no chairs, no speakers, etc. If you're having more than 4 guests, it might be good to find an official venue so that your guests can sit down. Ashley and I love to travel and as strange as this may sound Hawaii has a much different culture from mainland USA than many of the countries we've been to.

What an amazing duo to work with! My husband and I had planned our babymoon in Maui and wanted to do our gender reveal while there. I lucked out and found Loved Films and contacted them regarding our idea and wanting to capture the moment. They were so responsive and enthusiastic about our vision that it made me even more excited. Despite the 6 hour time difference, communication was speedy and the process was super easy.

I can't begin to describe how amazing our experience was with loved films!! We have watched our wedding videos over and over and we still laugh and cry every time! I'm struggling to find the words to express how grateful we are and how impressed we were with everything they did and how quickly they always responded. I've never felt so comfortable on a camera and have never liked a video of myself so much. You two are truly the best in every way.
