We stock all common residential pump sizes ranging from 1/2 HP to 1 HP and brands that include Franklin Electric, Flint and Walling, and Goulds. So impressed by this company. We thought my mom's pipes were frozen this past weekend so we traveled from Cleveland to Lake Chautauqua on Saturday to find it was not her pipes but her well. I called several well companies but ONLY McCandless (Alec) answered the phone. Unfortunately he was busy on Saturday taking care of other customers but promised me they would be at my mom's Monday morning at 8:00 am. Sure enough Dustin arrived at my mom's at 8:00 am and got her up and running. They replaced the well pump, reinsulated and installed new heating tape to keep things from freezing. Excellent customer

I have a house in Ellicottville, NY that really needed some help with the water system. I had a large amount of sulfur and iron in the water and the water pressure didn’t seem to be working right. I chose McCandless because my parents had a great experience with them and now I can say the same! They were very attentive, asked questions to be sure of my needs and even installed a watering post for my horses. It took some months to get electricity installed, yet Alex still checked in even then. He also suggested an electrician to finish what Nat’l Grid couldn’t do. Shout out to Adam @ Solid Customs Electric here😁 McCandless is fantastic!!! Do not hesitate to call on them.

After struggling to get my water working properly, McCandless was able to take care of me quickly and they definitely knew their stuff. I had worked with a previous company before them and scheduled work that they put off for MONTHS after being promised weeks. McCandless was able to get me in on their schedule and finally had my water fixed within weeks. They also repaired some things that were subpar from the last company. I also hate making phone calls and was able to schedule all of my work through Facebook and texting. Win win!

5 star rating for sure! Had some water pressure issues with our well. I called them and they were here within 2 hours to look at the possible problem! They gave me an idea of what the 2 issues may be and said they would be back in the morning to complete the job as it was already late in the day. They called back and said they would be here when it was convenient for us and we agreed 9am and they were here right at 9. Alex diagnosed the problem to be a bad pump. He replaced it, replaced the piping to the well as the old one was pretty bad, chlorinated the well, checked everything else, and it was

Alex and Zach are great guys To deal with. They are very professional and respectful. They will go above and beyond what is necessary to help with your needs and not pressuring you into something you don’t need. I highly recommend McCandless drilling for any of your water needs.
