River City Greenhouse, located on Highway HH, southwest of Hannibal was established in 1984. The owner, Tim Glascock, has worked in the gardening and landscape business for over 40 years. He has a variety of plants for sale all year round. During the spring Tim sells a full line of bulk garden seed, onion plants & sets, several varieties of potatoes, vegetable plants (including 25+ varieties of tomatoes), perennials and annuals.
He also has numerous shrubs and small trees. Tim and his staff (sister!) are always willing to give advice and help with your planting needs. Come out, enjoy a trip to the country and see a real working greenhouse! Directions: take U.S. 61 South to Grandview Burial Park, take a right onto State Highway HH, go 3 miles, the greenhouse is on the right.

Tim has 80+ different varieties of perennials and grasses for sale. Perennials CAN be planted all throughout the season, not just early spring or fall. As long as you water, care and fertilize them, they will do their job for you and bloom for many years. Decide what type of area you have, sun or shade, and when you want them to bloom: early spring, summer or fall.
